Taupau: tigers, ROOSTERS, WARRIORS (but in Christchurch), RABBITOHS, knights
Fifita: knights, TITANS, cowboys, eels, ROOSTERS

Home games uppercase, away games lowercase

You want the tough draw. Taupau only played 36 minutes when they were thrashing the Eels in the heat at the start of last season.

Lawrie will make good cash if he can get 40 mins. The problem is that Sims is suspended til round 3, so he could look very good in rounds 1 & 2, but then get bumped back to the bench.

    https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/03/01/lock-him-in-anthony-seibold-throws-matt-gillett-a-fresh-challenge/

Article re Broncos Pack. What i take from it -

Gillett is playing lock this weekend to get some contact into him and his hands on the ball more. Will spend some time at 2RF towards the end of the game. S'ua likely to be spending more time in the middle off the bench. Loves Fifita. Praised him for his work last year and in the all-star game. Said he doesn't care about his age just wants him playing footy and made a good point that last year he spent his pre-season with souths-logan so this is his first pre season with the full squad. Looks to be between Gillett, Fifita, TPJ and Glenn for 11,12,13 jerseys.

I guess it depends on the quality they can sign.

Segeyaro was not wanted by any club, and Blayke Brailey is yet to play first grade, I reckon if they're going to make a signing, they'd want someone with some experience. It's always going to be tough to find the right player at this stage of pre season, reckon they might be looking at a player swap.

Apparently Segeyaro had signed on for $120k , the smallest contract of his career ( he was ready to play for free for Sharkies) and penalty for Sharks is $350k off their salary cap allowances for the next two years.

The way I see it cutting off Segeyaro doesn't do enough so they will have to look elsewhere.

With Lawrence out for the first 6 weeks, it's been reported Matterson will play 90min :troll:

Oh yeah, cutting Segeyaro will do literally nothing for their cap - whoever they cut has to be replaced in the top squad by someone else, and the base contract is 110/120k or whatever now anyway.

Still sounds like Ava is their guy to move on.

This guy is a bit of a dum dum, but if this is true, there will be a few excited fantasy players among us

For any @NRL_Dragons fans wondering, Tyson Frizell moves to lock, and Jacob Host and Luciano Leilua will fight it out for right edge spot ...

Yeah, priced at 43.6 take out an injury affected game and it's something like 45.6 and the previous year was 54.6. He might not get to those heights again but should revert to some kind of mean and yeah with JDB out only improves his chances. Avg 50 wouldn't be out of the question I think.

I think the fact that he scored the first try in their trial last week is a clear indication that he will score many tries for the season.

How will Frizell go at Lock? He would get through a mountain of work! See more ball and get a chance at more points (LBA, TA, Tackles)

Might end up with Ravalawa, Lomax, Frizzy, Leilua and Vaughn in my team

Before these sanctions I reckon players thought what can happen to me, even if I go to court I'll still be able to play because I'm presumed innocent. Now they know they will be gone if they play up. Plus if you hit them with a big fine as well the players won't like that at all.

What a ridiculous thought process, you realise that a false rape or even just a simple false misconduct against a female could derail a premiership? What’s stopping a brown paper bag and a story now from taking someone out of a finals? This is Australia and the presumption of innocence is our entitlement, people lie.... especially for money.... this has just created another weapon for the corrupt.
