TBH I would pick 0 FRF to start the year if they let us have a dynamic 13 but gotta play what is in front of you. Will likely only have 2 FRF eligible players in my 21 come lock out

I'm looking at currently having the minimum at both hooker (Mahoney) and Halves (Brown / Keighran).

My theory with the halves is that if either get injured, their replacement is also likely to be a rookie cash cow. In hooker I am not seeing any other great value. Would mean sacrificing a player I really want with another just because they cover hooker.

Currently planning to have $200k+ in the bank, which should give some flexibility if the plan gets me in trouble.

We go through 3 hours of airport security though we havn't done any act of violence ourselves so I would put this minor inconvenience to men in that category.

I completely forgot where I was going with that story.

My finishing point was meant to be.I am happy for the suspensions and the NRL finally taking charge but surely there has to be some sort of initial processing or investigation to an allegation and not just some person on Twitter reporting something false then a player is stood down indefinitely

I completely understand but the problem is that it can be used as a weapon. When I was in year 12 we had a grade 8 student accuse a teacher of touching her inappropriately and he was stood down and she confessed to making it up because she didn’t like him.

He got his job back and even though he did absolutely nothing wrong and he was the niciest man that  will always linger over him

This will (almost definitely) linger over De Belin irrelevant of whether he was stood down or not. The stand down is to protect the game and its image/brand.

I haven't had Morgan in my team the last couple of weeks, but if Lolo is going to be his 2RF, it could be tempting as he will get a lot of LBAs just because Lolo is a beast, and because his opposites will be so worried about Lolo, that if they double team him (as they will need to), Morgan will get opportunities to dummy and run.

Who will be Lolos center? They will benefit massively from his ability to offload and attracting defenders, with lots of LBs and tries.

@mattnz I think that was tones edge, so Hampton should grab that spot.

Is it too risky to run 14-21 with purely cash cows? It allows a pretty solid 1-13 (a mixture of value and Points driven players (a little weaker in the halves and centres).

The 8 will be, besides Mahoney, all basement players dependent on TLT.

    The full team is here:

    https://www.nrlfantasyfanatics.com/t805-rate-my-team-please-nuts

    (Current 14-21 are placeholders).

There are a few bottom(ish) price players (or there abouts) currently out injured which gives you a few weeks to test the rookie before dumping for a returning player (Haas, moga come to mind)

Thoughts? Is it hero or zero strategy?

It’s an absolute farce, “protecting its image” would be to stand down every club caught cheating the salary cap. Money under the table dealings is the biggest blight on our game, has been for a long time. Money... (gambling) is rife through the game so much so we have clowns betting against themselves for an extra buck. What they’ve done is create a rule to pander to the masses of outraged dipshits with internet access who don’t even watch the game. The logic put forth on this forum is inconceivable, to think that JDB doesn’t rape this girl because he won’t get to keep playing is beyond stupid. To think that any player isn’t going to behave badly now because they’ll be suspended regardless of guilt even more so. His entire life is ruined now guilty or not, however if he is guilty a harsher penalty by the NRL wasn’t going to stop this bloke. I can’t comprehend how anyone can think any differently.

Anyone had any thoughts on the Huth at Lock? Absolute work horse. He has a BE of 43 so and is DPP.

When starting Lock and playing over 50 mins (13 times), he averages 49.3 at 59 minutes/game only scoring 2 tries. When playing over 60 mins (11 times), very similar at a 49.5 average. He has the locking role for now but he is very interesting, could go to a new level if he makes that spot his own and possibly push into the 50's.

Twal on the other hand BE 38. When playing off the bench and over 35 minutes (16 times) he averages 43.68 in 40.88 minutes per game with 0 tries!!! most impressively is when he got 79 in 39 minutes (7Tb's and 204 metres). Not sure which games he came on at prop and which were lock but man that is impressive!!

Didnt even realise ET was lock this weekend! Waste of talent with Huth and Twal on the pine, ET is a little past it isnt he?
