Peats already plays big minutes a lot. Not every week, but often, and a lot of the times he didn't was because of injury.

Post origin last year, Peats averaged 68 minutes (and 42 fantasy points) with Rein on the bench (12 games)

If Rein is replaced by Brimson, how many minutes do you think he'll get, and more importantly, what points will he get.

In games last year where Peats played 75 minutes or more, he scored 46. He is priced at 36.

I think some of his big minutes last year were resting Jai Arrow at lock when Arrow was nursing a rib injury. If Arrow is fit as many are assuming, does that mean less time for Peats giving him a rest.

Ideally you would wait a week or 2 to see how the Gold COast rotation plays out, but certainly Peats is someone who might see an increase in ownership if TLT falls favourably.

    McCullough
    Fifita/Taupau
    Radley/Murray/Arrow
    Morgan/Brown
    Capewell/Nikora
    Tedesco/CNK/Edwards

    Garner/Stimpson/Burr/Lomax
    4 NPRs to be decided.

    Good starting 13.

Not sure Burr and Lomax will be playable in your 17, and unless we get lucky on TLT, guessing there might not be good cheap players to replace them with (or fill your last 4 spots)

Bit of a different topic - who are the top captaincy options for round 1?

I have Fifita, Tapau, Murray and Arrow as possibles in my team, but they all worry me with the potential to be eased into the season minutes-wise.

This sounds insane but will having the SCG as Roosters' home ground impact them in any way?

    Clutching at straws for sure

Off season tinkering has now reached the point of analysing grounds

My advice to you is don't pick players based off one round, furthermore don't pick players based off round one at a ground

The SFS is gone. Roosters will be playing all their home games at the SCG (with a few up at Gosford as usual)

There was an article the other day re: the SCG. It is typically well known in the cricket community as a very fast ground. Short grass, minimal wind impact, flat surface. Expect plenty of quick, fast paced games at the SCG this year.

I think looking at a ground for one game is silly, but looking at a team playing all their home games at a ground with particular characteristics isn't.

In terms of the SCG, I would imagine that there might be the potential for a few more impact injuries given the harder surface, and it will be interesting to see how the middle holds up if it's a wet winter.

And plenty of grass burns. Rolls those socks up extra high

What's the go with Manlys centres ie; Dylan walker.
Got a draft team and I've got manly (my mates and I get a team and just see how it runs) so was trying to figure out if it's R.Garrick or B.Parker, heard they maybe looking for someone else from another club before round one.

Maybe I'm missing something but I'm certain Horsburgh didn't score in that trial and "mounties 8" stats included a try.

Plus I know trials is something to take lightly, but LAM
played 53 minutes. If anything that tells me Kearney wants to get his fitness up for some big games rather than play him 35-40 as just a yep you’re in scenario. On lil Pap I’m not sure about his minutes, maybe that one is more of just a yep you got the spot, don’t get hurt.

Even though he won’t be the brut enforcer of the bench this year he still has what it takes to break tackles and a great offload and the warriors have always played second phase footy so that won’t go missing. Imagine LAM taking a big hit up and Luke, Keighran, RTS running off his offloads.
