What an absolute shitshow roulette the FRF position and WFB is at the moment. My teams changing faster than the boys can film. CNK, Bmoz, Lomax, Dedwards, Watson, Ofa, LAM, Vaughn, Tapau, Fifita.... Maranta?? If you want to feel sick just know that in some alternate dimension Lachlan Maranta is an immortal and the Raiders win close games

I would also like to stake the fantasy case of Adam Reynolds.

    1. Old man Bennett may toughen him up
    2. Old man Bennett likes to play it safe with huge KM's and plenty of +2's
    3. If there was to be a Reynolds tape released, how can we be sure that with all those tattoos it's not really just cruiser boy Josh Dugan
    4. Josh Dugan is hit with a no fault stand down, you're welcome Sharkies

My thoughts on these guys in order:

    Fifita
    Kapow
    Vaughan
    Ofa/LAM

    DEdwards
    Watson
    CNK
    BMoz
    Lomax

Jack De Belin case in Federal Court likely to take from 4-6 weeks but he is expected to seek interlocutory injunction tomorrow. Would be heard in court next week and if successful, would mean he is able to play in round one. Brent Read.

    In NZ Action please?

No Bro! He means to read in a NZ accent, Bro! Its fully sick as, Bro! Like the ocean, I mean beach Bro!----

My advice would be no.... there’s better value than Paulo out there (Napa a good example) but the fact you’re looking at him in the first place might suggest a gut feel. I’d back it if it was going off a gut feel however if it’s more his price you’re attracted to then save $100k and grab Napa.

Shifts to a starting prop with a licence to offload from a position on the outer at Raiders with limited minutes. No gut feel. On stats he is at least 10 points undervalued.

Raiders didn’t limit his minutes mate his stomach did. Eels specifically said they’re buying him to add starch not minutes so statistically he’s no better off. A license to offload ranks third in throwaway sayings only behind
    1. Training the house down
    2. Looking for more minutes

From what I’ve seen through the threads mate I don’t think anyone disagrees with your assessment (the first two anyway).
The only thing that would steer people away from him is either they’re investing elsewhere or they’re apprehensive to play a bloke who’s consistently second to the other guy you’ve mentioned......

    1. Slightly Smaller than Dugan.
    2. Slightly less Tatts than Dugan.
    3. Slightly less injuries than Dugan.
    4. Slightly less of a whiny bitch than Dugan.

What are you're thoughts on the roll Tatola plays this year?

He’s a bench frf who will start during suspensions or injuries. From memory one of the Burgess boys is out for the first two weeks, think it was the one who snubbed the Eels for a chance at a new bunnies contract. Priced at $310k so cheap but not bottom dollar, can’t really see any value in him for 2 rounds starting and I don’t see him getting big minutes once relegated back to the bench. The likely scenario for Souths is they carry 2 frf, 1 back and 1 2rf on the bench. If all goes well you’ll probably see 55mins for the Burgess boys and 25mins for the other two. They’ll have the option of either moving Surgess into the middle carrying a 2rf or play that guy for 20-25 as cover for Murray.

FR Burgesses rarely go over 40 mins, could be a decent option if he gets the minutes

Yeah I agree with that but that was an “all going well” scenario. I can see them bringing Surgess into the middle as well though, especially if they have someone like Lowe on the bench. I can’t see Bennett running two rookies for half a game in the middle.

Edit- they could also just run 3 frf and 1 back also, either way it’s not going to add up to many minutes for Tatola.

I currently have Tatola as I am 10k short of Garner. If I don't downgrade somewhere to get Garner I plan on turning Tatola into Haas (all going to plan of course, which it never does, especially when planning Week 4 trades 5 weeks out) Smile woooo! Lets get it on

I wouldn't be surprised to see Tatola get around 35 minutes long term, more whilst Burgess misses early and chance to stamp some consistent minutes. If Sam moves to middle to cover some bargain because I've currently got him Very Happy
