Ive got him as a playing reserve at the moment. Im treating him as a middle fwd that will hopefully play at least 40 mins. If his mins are no good then i'll trade him to a missed cash cow.
If he was 450k i wouldnt bother but i think hes cheap enough to consider.
If tlt throws up better options for the same price range then i'll leave him out

Bellyache said he'll be throwing more minutes at BSmith this year, spending more time in the middle and at 9 when CS9 takes a spell as a third ball-player/play maker.

Need to do something to keep our future Captain happy.

Just a question. Maybe it's just my tunnel vision atm, but are Fifita or Taupau nescessary to start with if you are more than happy to captain say an Arrow to start the year.

I seem to be doing everything to fit them instead of looking for some value guys whom could become guns. I'm more than happy to say no to Crichton, LoLo, Jurbo in favour of value, why should FRF be any different.

    Thoughts?

This is pretty decent mate and very similar to my team if I run with Macca.  Not sold on Kahu myself, maybe using your coin to potentially upgrade to a Garner perhaps?  May make your bench look stronger.  That is actually scary similar to one of my recent incantations.

Using a bit of sorcery to generate a team there Wolfy. Smart move.

Not much value in the FRF area i guess mate. LAM, Moose, McLean all have ? over minutes. Gavet, Napa question marks over output. Then Ofa, Tolman, TPJ, Surgess have question marks over whether or not they can push it to gun level. As i said earlier i feel this year people have very high expectations for FRF when last year i was more than happy to start with Arrow/Lodge/TPJ and to be honest it worked out pretty well.

It’s funny, because there was a lot of talk for a bit about how no-one there actually liked Parker. Like he wasn’t one of the boys or something. I don’t know whether it was true or not.

Do you think other players on the team feel hard done by? i.e the likes of Brooks who has spent his whole career as a tiger daly M HB of the year, gets out done by someone who was kicked out of his club and landed at the Tigers?

Mbye has been at the Tigers for only 10months. I feel sorry for Chris Lawrence, he should have been made captain with Brooksy vice

I feel the same about Maclean, he only just got there and hasn’t really played either. You just have to trust that the coaches know what they’re doing. We’ve got Scott there as well who’s an absolute stalwart, I think the reasoning behind both these picks (Mbye and Maclean) is a “vision for the future” angle.
