First 11 weeks, Mahoney to average more than James! No money, just bragging rights! It will hurt more because you would have missed the Mahoney train, I'm actually considering Captaining him first week, set for a 60!

Looking for a bit of variety at WFB? Mainly interested in Moylan
I'd go Wighton with a more consistent base and average around 38-42
Moylan will fluctuate and have a single digit floor but likely higher ceiling

Has anyone considered Fonua Blake this year? With the discussion around mid range value props he hasn't been mentioned once, is 22 years of age, an international, big human that can break tackles, surely with another pre season under his belt he is primed for a big year? Just not getting the Tolman love at this stage.

Worth it just for the League name!AL wrote:Allright lads, I've had to set up a league so I can play for bragging rights against my mate who is a renegade. It's pretty lonely in there so feel free to jump on in!

Looks to be priced appropriately?
good for 50 mins. Needs to just play better? That the basis of your value proposition?
Easier to pick players with discounted prices due to some distortion or anomaly, rather then guess on a player playing better?

IIRC, last year (Or was it the year before?) there was a big debate about a bet Rabbit made with someone, and it had to do with the wording. Make sure both parties clarify the situation!
(Also need to discuss what happens if someone gets injured, otherwise that's an unfair advantage)

Alright lads, set up a league named Captain Mahoney. Code 5H7ZJKV7.
Prefer not to have plodders that don't have Mahoney. Jokes on @Rabbit - first in, best dressed, all welcome.
Cheers

I haven't personally, would need more analysis on it.
Tolman without Woods averaged 49, now he's without Klemmer too. Napa is there but that's Napa in for Woods and Klemmer. Definitely expecting him to average 8+ points on his price

Moose was a dick about it. Rabs and I are fine. Injury is a part of it hence why Rabs wanted total points and not average, I don't mind that as James is the underdog out of him and Arrow.Finch wrote:IIRC, last year (Or was it the year before?) there was a big debate about a bet Rabbit made with someone, and it had to do with the wording. Cheers for the thoughts mate. Just worries about having Wighton and CNK at the back.
Even though in reality it means little.
Sorry lukeaye I'll keep him on the lowdown

Thoughts on cheapies FRF. How does all the Eels injuries affect Paulo?
No effect due to the players going down being 2RF?

First call was a mid 40s average. I would prefer +-47 average for James this year. So 46.9 I win, 47.1 you win. I don't gamble on dealing with total points, for all I know one of them could get an injury second game and be out for season. Less likely that injury has an effect on the outcome if we use average. I pretty much watch 5-8 games a weekend, Titans have slightly more depth in middle with Boyd recruited, and Fotuaika and Arrow a year more experienced. Personally, if I was the Titans coach I would be starting James at prop and not on an edge.
Tip: Get Mahoney in your team, he is no Pritchard. He was an injury waiting to happen, so its sad to see that outcome did prevail. I wish him well.
The entire game is based on overall points, so well leave it there. I won’t be getting Mahoney week 1. Parra are notorious for shit scoring hookers. There’s a reason they’re wooden spooners. Have a good year.

Yeah I probably wouldn't pick either in that situation. Too much cash for it to go tits up.
I'm going gun, CNK, with either Ravalwa, Kahu, or Burns*
*Need more info about his job security if anyone knows anything

You would have had my money but you moved the goalpost from mid 40s to total points.
So you have Cook in your team? Any other hookers?
Nope. None.
