Yeah I probably wouldn't pick either in that situation. Too much cash for it to go tits up.

I'm going gun, CNK, with either Ravalwa, Kahu, or Burns*

*Need more info about his job security if anyone knows anything

Without any changes I'm running Edwards, CNK, BMoz.

Really am thinking of moving one to a base pricer.

Ravalawa most likely and hoping for a hot Dragons start with some tries.

i am quite interested in Burns, may run him. Feels like a bit like Moga in 2017 under Bennett. Sort of came from nowhere at left centre in round 1 TLT

    Big call on Mahoney.

Cook was a once in a fantasy lifetime cow to keeper. In fact #1 scorer

Not quite cow I guess (semantics), he was $500k+ to start the season. But definitely paid dividends Beating Heart

Mahoney won't do the same. Kind of reminds me of a better Lichaa, not the next Cook. Mahoney definitely in my team barring a hooker signing

I forgot BMoz in there too. I'm more excited about having Burns if he's secure, than I am with BMoz, but he's still on the cards. Rava is either in my team regardless

The entire game is based on overall points, so well leave it there. I won’t be getting Mahoney week 1. Parra are notorious for shit scoring hookers. There’s a reason they’re wooden spooners. Have a good year.

Yes, Overall points scored across 17 scoring positions, not just 17 players. So averages very much come into it. When Arrow gets a 1 week injury you don't play only 16 players, that's what the bench is for mate.

Eels had De Gois and Pritchard in the past, who yes were shit fantasy scorers. Cameron King didn't do too badly when he got the minutes. Past scores don't usually predict future scores, especially when the actual player is different.
Good luck for the season too.

First 11 weeks, Mahoney to average more than James! No money, just bragging rights! It will hurt more because you would have missed the Mahoney train, I'm actually considering Captaining him first week, set for a 60!

(Also need to discuss what happens if someone gets injured, otherwise that's an unfair advantage)

Injuries are part of the game and some player are more prone than others, I’m banking on James being more durable than Arrow, plus a better player.

Didn't Kaysa Prichard start fairly cheap in 2017 and make a not inconsiderable amount of money? Or am I misremembering?

I love TPJ as a player. He’s a beast like Kikau. BUT....hammies are death in rugby league. Especially recurring ones. I’m steering clear only because of that. He’ll beast it, then be in rehab for 6 weeks soon.

Any takers? First in, best dressed.

If it wasnt total points i would be more keen. The fact that Arrow will miss games for origin and James wont be certainly gives him the advantage

Moose was a dick about it. Rabs and I are fine. Injury is a part of it hence why Rabs wanted total points and not average, I don't mind that as James is the underdog out of him and Arrow.

Am I missing something here? James has always outscored Arrow. Average and overall.

Not this year. Your only hope is injury which I don't see happening or Origin but I'm not convinced Arrow plays origin this year.
