Until he went absolutely missing at the trials.
Everything went through Ponga/Pearce.

In that game you are talking about he had no linebreak, try, or try assist, but still managed a score of 36 points with 3 errors (not even sure he played the whole 80). His base of run metres will rival RTS, and tackle breaks will rival Teddy.
I'm willing to pick and stick so I don't have to play a winger.

Trying to consider the rotations is doing my head in.
I've sort of come to the conclusion that TPJ will come on after 25 mins and play out the game. I just can't fathom why he would come on but then be subbed off again for the final period of the game, unless he is injured (yes, strong possibility haha). He is, arguably, our best middle forward, definitely biggest gamebreaker in the middle of the park.

Will he get those playing in the Halves once the experiment is over?

Love the idea of risking it for the biscuit. But for me Hooker is the one position you don’t want to end up scrambling to sort out 3 weeks in.Iron Mike wrote:Is this team a stupid idea:
Mahoney
Fifita Taupau
Taumololo Arrow Murray
Keighran DBrown
Holland Nikora
RTS Watson DEdwards
Lane Garner Burr Lawrie
Sele Sivo Ravalawa Xerri/Garrick (not sure I want a dud Manly winger).
Only cover I don't have is at hooker, but I'm so undecided I'm happy to wait until it's more clear. No hooker that I want plays round 12 either except Mahoney.
Watson can cover halves for the meantime if one of the wingers look better than them.
Not happy to miss Niukore/Radley/Ofa/Twal.
Benji did say on NRL 360 Madge wasn't happy with the forwards fitness yet so needed a four forward bench against a big manly pack, but it could change next week. Also wants an experienced prop on bench so splitting Matulino and Packer up. So Twal gets the start.
