I'm not saying good for Host as in minutes, I just mean he probably gets an extra 2-3 weeks starting. I see Host going back to the bench and Frizell back to edge. Lawrie to pick up the JDB work.

Just looking at the fullbacks scores. Tries certainly make a difference to their scores. Oates (2 tries), RTS (1 try), Hiku (1 try), Mcdonald (1 try), Hughes (1 try), Johnston (1 try), Pereira (1 try).
Only players 40 points or more that didn't score tries was Moylan, Hopoate and CNK.

Braidon Burns (39 points) certainly has some value in the fullback fantasy position.

You would be laughing if you had RTS, CNK and Burns. That's why I am a little inclined to give Watson and DEdwards another week, only takes a try to turn it around.

I go Morgan for sure 23 points just from km And 16 tackles so decent base Bateman or gillett if chasing points host for more cash gain

You stick with edwards because he has an average of 45 playing 20+ games in the NRL. I’m guessing that’s his worse score ever minus an injury effected game! And he isn’t a try scorer, doesn’t need them to score well!

Thanks guys, might just go Watson to Morgan and Sivo to Cash Cow.

Certainly Gillett and Bateman are worth another watch, and happy to give Holland and DEdwards another shot.

The problem with leaving too much cash in the bank is that when so many cash cows fire like this week you are left with all that cash and a few less guns.
Will be surprised if people don't pick up Lawrie (if you don't have him) as their first trade in this week.

Love the look of that trade mate. I would be considering giving Holland and Radley another crack but moving them for 2 genuine keepers that look under priced and have low ownership would be hard to pass up. Bateman is going to make as much as some cows so providing you have all the obvious ones (Morgan, Nikora, Brown, Keighran, Rava) I would have no issue going with Matterson aswell

Was thinking the exact same thing. Frizell injury gives him the job security he was lacking before round 1 and the 40 should be a nice head start on cash making. 35's from here should see some serious cash generation before Frizell gets back

Looks solid - love Holland to Bateman. But I do wonder if you can find some better value than Matterson? Only reason I'd grab him right now is if you see him as a season keeper but Im not sure he is. I guess it depends on your team and whether or not you can afford to just downgrade Radley to free up cash for next week. I.e. have you got someone in your EMGs you could start? and is there a CC you have missed?

I dont get to watch many of the games so love to be able to watch the highlight come Monday when I back hard at work for the week Wink

Can anyone help with an alternative site for viewing the highlights? Or help an old man (in tech terms) with a good VPN solution?

    Cheers win advance!

I need to get some info on Lawrie, but after the hype of the first game of the round (and seeing there est of the round unfold) I'm happy to live without Bird. You aint gonna start him and there is probably safer CC options out there than him. Burr I think is not worth the trade, pretty sure he just gets minutes off the bench from now on.

You got Host, the two halves, Ravalawa, Nikora?

And in terms of the mid-rangers Gillett, Murray, Arrow, Garner, Mahoney?

Tolo could be a nice POD, but I think I'd be making sure I have all of the bottom $ CCs first and then seriously consider all the mid-range guys too before Matterson/Tolo.

Last year making enough money to get the gun 17 was tough, despite there being a ton of money to be made at the start of the season and several great cows mid season. I cognisant of the fact that this year is gonna be as tough and therefore every trade made in the first few weeks needs to have money as the primary consideration.

Just my thoughts though bro, and pretty flippant given I haven't seen your side nor have the time to truely get my head around it anyway.

I've seen the same question asked a number of times just about different players. Here's the answer.

All teams by season end will want a hooker playing 80 minutes.

The interchange will drop to 6 next year and teams wont be able to afford to carry a utility / back up hooker. They will all need a DPP 2FR / CTR for injuries.

I had a look at Lawrie's scores and minutes. He got about 20 min average last season for 20 points. He looks safe for minutes. Hopefully his floor is 35 ish.

Agree with the cash generation. I barely scraped a decent team together last year because I missed a few cows (Havili etc). I'm probably jumping off a slow burn and onto Bird and Lawrie
