    Holland Nikora                  Ravalawa
    Watson DEdwards Burns    Sivo

So Watson to Morgan provides cover and I sit Keighran/DBrown for Ravalawa.

Can't do Sivo to Bird by $2K but think I need to leave fullback cover there. Was thinking Sivo to Host/Mikaele/Staggs but not really stand out options.

Just looking at this I don't really have great cover at all. Watson to Morgan provides good halves cover but means I will play Ravalawa and not have any centre cover, and fullback cover is very light in Sivo.

I would be interested to see what cover teams that have 5+ hookers have as an injury somewhere in the backs could mean forced trades or a late pullout means no score.

Only one of them made NYC team of the year... Radley.

I don’t actually want to argue the toss as Cam Murray is different class - I actually agree with you. Victor should be doing a bit better than he is was my point

You might want to do a little more research. Murray has captained every side he’s been in. Radley didn’t make the Australian U18 side, nor most of the rep teams Murray captained. The reason Murray wasn’t in that NYC team is because he was playing NSW cup. I think I might know a little more about there respective careers than you, just quietly Rolling Eyes

If that were my team I'd be trying to find a way to get Morgan & Gillett who I think are roughly 15 and 10 points undervalued respectively. I think Watson to Morgan is smart, then given after that you have 109k ITB I'd seriously consider Lane to Gillett (I think Gillett is gonna at least ave 50, so thats probably good enough to keep for the year). Would give you $132k ITB and then you'd have several options for next week including having a bit of a war chest to get Bateman if needed, dealing with Sivo if he sux again, &/or dealing with Burr/Roache depending on what the warriors do.

Just my 2c though bro, hope it helps though.

You and I are thinking along the same lines mate: Im missing Lawrie and Bird, and the underpriced middies Im missing is Bateman (although I dont have Niukore either, he's not on my radar).

I agree with you in that I think the middies are the better options as twhile they will make less money, they are starting 17 players (potentially keepers) and will improve your weekly score.

Therefore Im tending to give up Holland and Napa to get Bateman + the best CC I can in my price range (Im $5k short of Lawrie).

Where we differ is Im not sure I could bring my self to trade Arrow. I could lose Edwards though, particularly seeing as you have Ravalawa. Can you then get Gillett next week (and could you get Gillett first and Bateman second, that order makes more sense in terms of money, but perhaps doesn't work in terms of positions).

    Thanks for the feedback gents.

You've talked me off the ledge of trading Arrow. Good suggestion on targeting Gillett before Bateman. I'd assumed that Bateman would make cash faster, but MTBs glorious resource of wisdom suggests that Gillett may actually increase more quickly. I'd assume their scores will be about the same. I'll come back with further questions as I trade and then roll back my team about 100 times after TLT this arvo.

Might just do Radley > Lawrie and have a bank of 230k, give Holland another crack at things.

Given how this happens to me each year, trading out a player for them to go boom the very next week, i'm going to do the same and hold holland for another week.

Radley > Morgan and Garrick > Host for me with $110k to target Lolo next week.

How is going from Lane to Gillett actually helping my team. I mean if they both play up to and including the first bye the points will be about the same, not to mention I've wasted a precious trade plus Lane looks likely to jag a try at some stage (more likely than Gillett at the moment), plus when Haas back I think Gillett moves to an edge because Su'a was average.
