    Garthy also had anthony don in reserve grade and copley in the 17. He had copley on the bench over rein. He gave mofo 28 minutes. He had ash taylor out but didnt bring in ryley jacks. He wants Gordon at 1 and not Brimson.

    So what you're saying is Brennan has a few screws loose so expecting rational selections and minute distribution is asking for trouble?

    Thoughts on selling Twal to Host and D Edwards to Bateman? My current team is:

    Cook
    Fifi, Twal
    Arrow, Murray, Lane
    Morgan, Munster
    Nikora, Capewell
    Edwards, CNK, Burns

    Mahoney, Garner, Keighran, DBrown

    Tatola, Garrick, Ravalawa, Sivo.

    $37K ITB

    If I did the above trade, I'd be playing Sivo or Ravalawa, and playing either Host or Tatola, but I think Bateman is too good to leave out and Twal was a big mistake from me.

    Anyone got any better trade ideas?

    EDIT: Just came up with a better idea, though a bit more unconventional.

    Jai Arrow -> Sam Burgess

    Alex Twal -> John Bateman

    And Tedesco. And Fifita.

    Another thing I’ve noticed is Macca is king if the flop. Tackles are basically made before he makes the effort to come into a third of them. The bloke can defend, don’t get me wrong, just lives for the flop.

    Wish Tapine new how to flop. Useless. Would stand there watching from close quarters and would just run away. Probably for the best for the raiders, but what about my fantasy team. The diligafs will not forget this

    I think I'm playing with fear this season. Fear of making poor decisions and fear of doing shit and looking like a mug haha

    Looking back at my team selection process - a lot of it was fear driving decision making ie not owning certain players and missing out rather than using my brain/gut to make the picks. Teddy is a prime example.

    The 'last season me' (balls out) would be dropping Arrow and bringing in Bateman. Gut says this is the right move (yeah, I know). Edwards and Holland would also be on the radar to move on.

    The 'this season me' (soft cock) is baulking at this. I'll probably just do Napa to Lawrie and bank a trade.

    Last season I went hard and just hung on. This season is shaping up to be a slow plod and hopefully a big finish. I'm bored already.

    Haha that just gave me the confidence to drop Arrow and Twal for Surgess and Bateman. My gut tells me it's right but there's all the conventional wisdom saying to hold Arrow all year.

    My logic is that the Rabbits are going down the right side a lot and ARey loves feeding short balls to Surgess on that edge, plus they have a good draw the next few weeks (Dragons, Titans, Manly, Warriors, Bulldogs, Panthers), also this trade gives me two more players in round 12 (Surgess and Bateman both play 12, Arrow has Origin and Twal does not play 12)

    Is Ofa to Lawrie a good trade

    I will be playing Lawrie in my 17 but it does give me 300k to play with next week

    I know how you feel. I'm looking at Cook and going "mate, you look a bit less scooty than you used to. Are you sure you shouldn't be BS9? Are you?"

    Reckon I'm just going Kahu to Lawrie this week. I don't see Kahu making much money and I didn't like what I saw from him on the weekend from a fantasy point of view. Lawrie could make 100k the next 3 weeks if he keeps starting so I think it seems like the logical trade to make.

    This. Brennan loves Cartwright and 60 on an edge doesn't seem too much to ask for him. And now that Boyd's there too maybe Arrow won't have as much work to do paritcularly with Mofo coming along in bounds. I'm not doing anything drastic this week, but will be watching closely this week.

    It may not seem that way but if you watch the games it is. For a guy who showed so much promise he's turned into an absolute fucking spud, can you catch useless from not vaccinating?

    Haha, I watch nearly all the games including that one. I can see Brennan persisting with it, whether it's a good idea or not. Certainly seemed to work for Cooper and Taumalolo. Very Happy

    Carty and James are not Cooper and Lolo.

    Despite everyone knowing this, he "trained the house down" in pre season and is straight into the Titans side for round 1. I think it will continue.

    Goddammit now I'm actually tempted to punt Arrow (and Garrick) for Bateman and Lawrie. First trade is obviously sideways (and on an unproven scorer) but would facilitate Lawrie who could easily make 200k from here.

    Didn't Cartwright play in the halves on Sunday when Roberts went down? I remember Peachey initially playing there for a little bit but then he moved to the centres. Probably explains Cartwright's minutes.

    They were my initial trades but I want to give Arrow another week to confirm my thoughts and Bateman won't rise in price as fast as some of the lower priced cows so I'm getting them first.
