My scoring reserves are Lawrie, Taupau, Host and Nikora while Bird is sitting in my reserves because I can't see him being a definite better scorer in week 2 than any of them. However let's say he keeps up the assists for Oates and the junk point scoring running sideways. That's a lot of good points going to waste.

Like others I'm debating the Holland to Bateman trade but honestly I'm starting to wonder if I should downgrade Holland for extra cash and put Jack Bird in my CTR's.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 18
Arrow's on notice this week. He averaged 50 in 55 minutes last year and got 55 minutes last week. Sounds about right. Brennan's last interchange with 8 minutes to go was to put Mofo back on to push him from 20 to 28 minutes. Those 8 minutes could just as easily have gone to Arrow pushing him to 63 if the game was close. But I think it's likely that he persists with Cartwright 60 minutes on edge which means James to get 20 on edge and 40 in the middle. Same rotation as Lolo. Wallace for 50, Boyd for 40, King for 20. Does Mofo keep getting 28? Seems plausible, and if so Arrow's only getting 55 minutes and a 50 point player which is good but not quite final 17 sort of stuff.

I think it's more that his score wouldn't have been that impressive without the points from his try. That and the eels are signing/have signed? McCillwrick to be his back up and possibly steal minutes.
Definitely not a sell but not a player people are desperate to get in.
He's younger than I realised, will hopefully get slightly higher base stats from defending in other weeks and average low 40s which is fine until he maxes out and come become a tedesco or crichton

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 18
Arrow was playing in a team with no halves and where him coming back on would have made little difference to the result.
This week they play the Sharks and they've had a lot of tight encounters with them in recent history. If he doesn't go 50+ against them then I'd be worried but until then Arrow isn't a concern on my radar.

We know from last year that he varies more than most forward guns with a range of 30-99 from memory
I think some of us, me included, are just getting itchy trigger fingers after such a high scoring first round and not many clear letdowns in our teams and getting a bit too nitpicky. Probably a sign to do nothing at all

I refuse to believe that Bryce Cartwright will consistently get more minutes than both James and Arrow.

+1
Would happily Have a wallace or even worse gallen avatar if I was wrong at the end of the season
A bit random but which players do you guys dislike strongly and why?
Gallen one is obvious for me as a knights fan and him being a grub, cheat, and having a flower tattooed on his backside
Hodges used to be one who annoyed me too. Still does now as a commentator but that's because he can't speak english or form rational thoughts

Hi all
Cook
Fif Marty
Arrow Murray Lane
Morgan Brown
Holland Burns
Kahu CNK Edwards
Nikora Garner Capewell Keighran
Garrick Sele Rav Bird
Thinking one trade this week - Garrick to Lawrie.
Considering ditching kahu for host but unsure, mabye even lane to bateman but don't like that. Can you guys see any glaring trades. Thoughts. Cheers.

Do you have any cash for a rainy day?
Kahu to host, burns to WFB and bird to the centres makes sense for your team for both points and cash
How far would that stretch for your garrick replacement?
Quality team though mate

The problem is, Brennan fkn loves him, and that change looked planned.
Garthy also had anthony don in reserve grade and copley in the 17. He had copley on the bench over rein. He gave mofo 28 minutes. He had ash taylor out but didnt bring in ryley jacks. He wants Gordon at 1 and not Brimson.

Bird has much better job security but will be more variable in his scoring. I see his 50 as being an outlier.
Lawrie's floor even with say a 30m role off the bench looks to be about 30 given his PPM. So I would say Lawrie has more in him and slightly quicker too

Nah not at all mate. Keep an eye on TLs but smith on the bench means 65-70 for Mahoney which shoulder equate to a low 40s average which is good for another month or so of increases. No need to rush out players who are making you money and scoring alright just because everyone is so keen to make trades
More cows will always emerge later in the season. Think Martin for example

Cheers for the quick reply mate, with the garrick to lawrie trade leaves me with 79k ITB. With the Kahu to Host leaves me with 102k ITB. Probably will do that actaully. Thoughts. Cheers
