The way he’s been talked about you’d be forgiven for thinking he’s Luke Bateman priced!Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:Some of these trades to get Bateman in are interesting.
PS. I wonder how many get the wrong Bateman??!!

Why are people selling Lane, he's up against the Bulldogs who have an unchanged team & he could easily get some attacking stats. I also read BA said that the reason the ball went to the right edge so much last week was to open the field up for the left edge where Lane plays to unleash the the left edge attack.

Brutal. Are you getting Tamou this week?

I’m expecting a big game from Brown.Welshy wrote:Whose the halves partner this round boys Keighran or Brown?
Thought he looked much better than his fantasy score in a tough match. Kid is class

That's fair enough & you won on that change. I think Lane's height is actually a great attacking asset because he's so tall no defender can tie up the ball so he potentially could get plenty of offloads away.

Nah mate he just scored his best score for the year I’m not going to go chase him now. If Finucane and Arrow score roughly the same again this week I’ll be trading him for the same scores for 200k less

Dropped RTS, Sele and Garrick
Replaced with Burns, Niukore and Roache. Worked out alright for money making and depth.

Plus Lane will be running at Montoya all day which is a very good positive because Montoya seemed to have no idea on how to play ctr & defensively was pretty poor against the Warriors. In fact on the sc forums I've seen people mentioning that they are going to captain Lane for this very reason.

I'm considering getting rid of Twal. Lane could be better pick up than Bateman

No player I want more this week than Gillett but feel I need to sort my cows this week getting rid of the likes of garrick for Lawrie (I have no bench FRF), and to alfies gut wrenching... decided Kahu was worth starting and the money I saved doing that I invested in Morris over burns. In the process of correcting that right now.

The way he squared up the defenders for that last jennings try was particulary skillful. I don’t think the commentators gave him enough credit for how smart that was. Played years above his age

I don’t wanna say gut-wrenching, but I brought in Tatola for Napa and Taupau for Arrow
I have/had my reasons for these moves. A starter cheaper than Napa(who knows how this works out in the long run), and Taupau was affordable. Little did I know that both Des and Brennan would dick around with their minutes.

I think Pay made a monumental error breaking up the left edge Holland/R. Smith partnership. They were killing it at the end of 2018 & I was hoping Pay would realise he erred & reunite the partnership but he hasn't.

Same here but I’m using max restraint to focus on money making. Granted he’ll make plenty of money, I excluded bird and morgan for round 1 so there my trades at the moment. I’m a sucker for a workhorse lock though so that could very well change
