All owners hoped pre-season, against quite a lot of Brennan-related evidence, that this would happen. Round 1 gave us another bit of evidence that it won't. EDIT see what you mean on the averages for the 50-60 minute games. I'm back to 50/50 now.

Still have 100% bonafide Dutch van der Linde worthy FAITH that he will be a centre gun this year. But the problem is I need him to do it right now, and I am not that confident that he will. The start of the year is too important to get on the right cows and have your team value increasing, and there are too many other options in his position which are going up in value.
Sure he might score a try and find 50+ points this week, making me feel like a goose- but I will still be worried about the 20 around the corner the week after. Players like Nikora, Capewell and Bateman are not going to make these stop-start price rises like him, they are going straight up with meat and potato tackle points. As silly as I would feel watching him beast it over the next few weeks while his replacement scored similarly, I would feel even worse watching him get another string of 20's while all those popular players got away from him in price and overall points. For me it is just too risky NOT to sell him.
tl;dr- we are told not to sell guns, but I fear he might take too long to become one while his shit team figures out how to play

Yes I was looking through their teams yesterday. Very few had Cook, Bateman, Arrow and Taupau typically not there, easy to catch up if things start normalizing. A huge score to Captain Cook and Friend failing will quickly catch many other teams up.

That's the other one I'm tossing up. TT's role disappointed me with even Nicholls coming on for a second stint before him. Tatola to Lawrie. Tatola might make 100k slowly and Lawrie might make 200k fast. Not sure it's worth it (and hardly impossible that Tatola could outscore Lawrie this week)
