    The quote I saw wasn't sticking it to his old club, it was "showing them what they are missing"

    The answer to that could well be "not much"

    I'm currently thinking;

    IPap -> Bateman
    Holland -> Lawrie

    With Capewell, Nikora and Capewell, centre is well covered for me. Lawrie will make cash quick even if he only starts a couple games. Hollands and the Dogs performance was trash.

    Gillett this week, Bateman next week I reckon!

    Absolutely. Why do you think I’ve not done a formal trade proposal for last 3 seasons. One of yours will do Laughing

    No, I'd probably wait a week because the cash differential wouldn't be expanding. But he didn't and it is.

    As said, I'm 50/50 on the trade. Maybe 60/40 now I've written it down.

    Is there really no other way you can pull off this trade? Whats your team mate? Im with Welshy, you are clearly a good fantasy player, and therefore you know what you are doing, but it does seem a lot to give up. I personally think Arrow was due for another stint on the park but didnt get it due to the way the game unfolded.

    Thoughts on these trades:
    Holland to Bird this week

    If Arrow fails to fire this week again: Arrow + Whitehead to Bateman + gun around 750-780k depending on price changes next week (main person is Crichton, maybe Friend if affordable)

    Team for reference (4k left):
    Cook (c)
    Fifita Tolman
    Arrow Murray Lane
    Morgan Brown
    Holland Nikora
    Tedesco Burns CNK

    Mahoney Whitehead Garner Host

    Haha too be fair I'm not the only tinkerer around here nowadays. Some upstarts are trying to muscle in on my turf.

    Garth Brennan did state in the presser that the Roberts injury resulted in Arrow not getting back onto the field. We shall see this week, because if that’s the case, there’s a good chance Arrow is getting 65+ minutes if he played 54-55 minutes straight, to get a breather and then maybe another stint after 10-15 or so minutes off the field.

    I wouldn't be trading Arrow to get Bateman. I can see the Holland to Bateman trades working out but I can't quite do it this week. Maybe next week. Happy to watch on this week re: Raiders rotations and how he goes with the speed of the game vs Storm.

    Good to know, and a point against trading Arrow, but not sure I understand that Brennan logic. Roberts off early (back for back) means a three man bench with seven interchanges and if anything more chance to get Arrow back on.

    Vaughan went really well with good minutes and minimal attacking stats, wish I had started with him

    How long will Frizell realistically be out for?

    Is Host actually a good option?

    Its certainly good to have more options discussed than just Bateman (or whoever the flavour of the week happens to be)

    Sometimes there are good options that just don't get talked about.

    I had him to partner Tolman. In the end I backed down and got Fifita

    It is probably a case of 1 less interchange and that the game was gone. I dear say Cartwright 62 mins, James 60 minutes, Wallace 54 mins all won't be getting the same/more as Arrow in the next few weeks.

    Im surprised at the lack of Tolman talk... but perhaps most people have him.

    When I saw his score I immediately thought well done Welshy because on the podcast Welshy had him in his team but it turns out you didn't keep him. I ended up going with Ofa & out of all the props our community had discussed Ofa probably got the worst score.
