Reports are Roosters are about to throw a life-line for Cameron King to join the squad as a backup to Jake Friend ASAP

Talking about cookie cutter, it's been pretty good.

So many forum members here are close to the top, as a collective it must be our best start to a season so far, not forgetting to mention our NRLFantasyFanatics Celeb team carving it up.

From the looks of it not long enough to trade him in. But from past fantasy experiences, he could well be in the team and play for the rest of the season.
So in a few rounds we all will be kicking ourselves for not jumping on him early

And Mattnz will be laughing at all of us

So with Lafai, Moylan and Inglis all in doubt, are we looking at a scenario where Lomax, Xerri and Allan all play this week?

As someone currently bringing in Garrick as I’ve no alternative, that would be very sexy... except all are probably just one offs at this point, I assume.

Edit — just reading a few recent posts, is Xerri already a certainty?

Murray talking up his desire to be an 80 minute player. He said he really wants to keep pushing his fitness and seeing how long he can last. He is unsure if Bennett is on the same page but said once his fitness is up he plans on asking Wayne if he can play 80 minutes. He said in about 2-3 weeks time he thinks he will be ready to go the distance.

Scored about 850 last week. Showed how rough the halves situation is (true for a number of teams). No cash to fix it though.

Going to bring in Bird for Holland, as much as I don't trust him. Potential cash is too hard to ignore. Looked at some funny Tolman trades and playing Lawrie but don't love anything.

Tolman, Gillet, and the halves the main concerns for the coming weeks. 30k bank doesn't help much though.

Feki and Moylan both injured, with Xerri the replacement for either.

Best case scenario is Xerri comes in for Feki, then plays so well that he takes Feki's spot from him. (Chance of Xerri taking Moylan's spot long term is pretty much zero)

Are you saying that you're trading in Garrick?

I think he has better job security for the foreseeable future than the rest of those guys (personally, I reckon he will stay in the team all year). Lomax and Xerri could end up getting long stints in the team but they're a bold risk right now.

Allan is probably not someone I'd touch.

What happened to Craig Garvey? Injury?
