Also cant hold Edwards anymore. Would rather play both my wingers and get 10's then play Edwards and get 10's + -$50k.

Team for the week so far

    (C)ook
    Surges, Tolman
    Arrow, Garner, Murray
    Morgan, Tavita-Harris
    Bird, Nikora
    Sivo, Nicoll-Klokstad, Ravalawa

    Farah, Mahoney, Bateman/Rein, Keighran
    Gillett, Lawrie, Host, Brown

Im guessing that if Tavita-Harris bombs they will just bring Keighran back in so ill hold him. And for now as long as ive got him might as well use him to loop for Gillett/Lawrie depending on what Gillett gets. losing hope in him.

Did you bring in CNK for Edwards? Good trade.

Tbh, I'd say Bateman. He goes up $50k this week at least, he's a season keeper, and plays round 12. Only thing that would sway me is hooker cover and lack of cows because money is important and cows are sparing atm

This leaves me with Ravalava and Sivo in WFB this week but I will not be the only one. I will also have close to 400k to play with next week for some juicy upgrades

I could have brought Ponga in this week, however, a score of 50 will have him lose around 25k and a score of 28 for Ravalava will result in a gain of the same amount. I think this is the best long term move I can make

    Stop copying my trades.
Exact same for me this week.

This hasn't really been spoken about much in here, but it's certainly a possibility that Keighran gets back in the Warriors team before Brown gets back in the Eels.

But I think Brown is the better bet to both be playing first grade again soon, and make some cash whilst he does it. Given a significant amount of people here rely on playing 1 of them and therefore have to trade this week, I think dumping Keighran makes more sense (unless you dump someone else and hold them both)

Is anyone holding Burns? 4 weeks is awkward. But he plays rd 12, and I think he'll be at least close to being a keeper.

But holding him means playing Sivo and Ravalawa. Yuck

CHT flair play to IPap. Don't want him doing this in fantasy, dudded himself out of a linebreak and only gets 2 kick metres. https://youtu.be/a65e6XBgZsM

If I get rid of Host I add Brown to that.

Host staying allows me to make the Host/Rava switch if Sivo tanks.

    Apologise for loop chat.

Kearney said in a interview on Radio Sport NZ that Keighran will be back in the team at some stage. He was dropped to work on a couple of things in his game. It’s all a guessing game at the moment. CHT might kill it and keep that spot all year. Sounds like Brown could be out a while so bringing both Carty and CHT in could be possible

Coaches always say that though. CHT should get at least 4 weeks, longer if he's not completely shit.

Anyone got the answer on CHT vs Carty? If they score similar, they more or less earn the same. In which case I’d definitely go CHT to save that initial $123k.

But do we think Carty scores better and more consistently, plus he’s probably likely to hold his position? If CHT scores ok you’d assume he’s likely to hold his spot for at least a few weeks, but is it just too big a risk? But is it one you just take anyway, assuming that either option is just a short term fix to a problem this week, and that neither option is a long term solution?

So I will be trading out Burns & Keighran. Which trade option do you like:
    (a) A-Rey & RTS or
    (b) A-Rey & Ponga or
    (c) L. Lewis & Tedesco or
    (d) M. Morgan & Tedesco

My other half is Munster. I could of put down Cartwright as an option but never haha.

    Thoughts & thanks.

I think there's daylight between (b) and everything else. Ponga's cash drop has been enough to indicate decent earning potential, and has DPP, whilst A-Rey is the only potential keeper of the three halves (albeit borderline).

    What looks better, halves and WFB;

    Morgan Ponga
Rava CNK Sivo (no backup WFB)

    or

    Morgan Carty
Rava/Sivo CNK Edwards (can loop between Sivo and Rava and at least have some WFB backup)

So trades would be Carty and Xerri or Ponga and Xerri. Holding Burns and Morris at the moment.

    Thanks lads.

Is the likely 4 weeks of Xerri not turning people off or just trying to preempt the Dugan injury?

I'd love to get him in but probably too many fires to bring in a centre this week
