35 in base and surely SJ coming back in will be helpful??

Im doing that + TTurbo > Ponga.

I should have remembered that NSW fullbacks have the body constitution of a damp scotch finger before bringing him in last week.

I think I'll go Xerri instead of Oku.

Trade costs me 70k less, which will really help next week. If Xerri averages 35 and Oku averages 30 for the next three games, they make about the same amount of cash. I'm obviuosly banking on Xerri being at least a 5pt better player than Oku.
Running with this logic as well. Would love to watch Oku play whilst having him in my team, but will take an unproven Centre at 70k less over an unproven Winger 9 times out of 10.

These guys (Kent and co) are just annoyed that he wouldn't speak to them, and give htem the scoop. It is childish from the media.

Then they carry on about Roberts passing out (and Kent goes as far to say he thinks there was drugs involved - what right does he have to say this on television), then laugh off Latrell Mitchell getting fined by the police for an argument with the cops.

    Spare me this junk.

Never watched 360 but I hate that negative drivel. Like when they were saying who does TPJ think he is wanting a million dollars. Um pretty sure that's everyone's goal lol

They have a point though, with a salary cap in place if you want to get Taumalolo money you have to be performing like him first.

Yeah but they make it seem like it's wrong to try. This is their living. It's up to the clubs how much they're willing to pay

Key point though, he didnt get signed as a free agent, he got signed under the international pathway programme. Wont play in 2019. He might get signed as a FA next year but I doubt it.... Its a money grab thing IMO. International players sell jersey, grab media time etc. Just like Hayne. Worked for a little bit and then faded out. I dont see Holmes succeeding here to be honest.

Hayne was a very high profile star though, his merchandise was always going to sell well in Australia. Holmes has a much lower profile, he wouldn't be the easy merchandise revenue generator like Hayne was.

Perhaps 50 was conservative. My point was I dont think his price 'soars' from here to the point where you will no longer be able to get him if you dont grab him this week.

I.e. even if he scores 60s for the next 3 weeks he only rises by $100k.

I just dont see the 62 average as sustainable, that would put him in some pretty elite fantasy company... He looks great, dont get me wrong, and I have him, but I dont think he's a now or never player considering what he is currently priced at.

Did you get what you were after in the CHT BE thing?
100k for someone who is alread 740k is a lot haha yeah you could probably wait till after origin though if you wanted to
I was kind of more chasing the fact that yeah okkie’s bE is low as fuck but if CHT grabs a 40-50 this week will his BE be around -20 next week as I rather grab CHT instead of Okkie. I don’t how to put what’s in my head on paper

Andrew Fifita has scored in the 30's before and he'll probably do it at some stage this season. Even the most elite guns have some quiet ones here and there.

I brought him in last week. Playing alongside flanno didn’t help but with SJ back he should see more ball

Not sure how Bateman would end up with an average of 50. Current average of 62. On a quiet day where he looks far less involved he is getting 50, he just doesn't have days where he gets a 30-40 and will have a number of 70-80+ through the season. Hasn't even scored a try yet and only 1 try assist. High 50s to 60 average most likely.

Subsequently posted 50 might be conservative. But you have to be careful pegging this guy to such high averages based on 4 games in 2 different roles. You might be right and he averages close to 60, but you are saying based on limited data and quite a bit of added uncertainty that the guy is fantasy elite which is a big call.

That all said, the point of my post was that I dont think Bateman is a now or never purchase given his current price. People that dont have him can still get him prior to round 12 and go after other players that are probably considered better value this week.

So here are Ponga's next 7 matchups heading into the RD12 bye, and what he posted on them last year:

    Manly - 75 and 58
    Titans - 77
    Eels - 68
    Warriors - 44
    Dogs - 8 (injured after 14 minutes)
    Dragons - 63
    Roosters - 46 and 58

Average of 61 if we discount the freak injury game.

Now i know fixtures aren't to be read into too much but that is exceptional

Except the media made up the whole story that he was chasing a mil and then decried the 'fact'.

Haha, yeah mate for sure. Was supposed to be in quote marks. But still there are others out there that will rise $100+ so get those first and Bateman when you can is what Im saying. Also bear in mind, $100k is off the back of 3 x 60s.

I think what you are better looking at re the two players is their price rises over the next couple weeks based on whatever scores you think are reasonable for them.

If you want both of them, then probably Okie this week CHT the next. If you are thinking just one of them, then it depends on how you think they score moving forward.
Im probably gonna grab them both cause my team shat the bed with its CCs, but in choosing one also consider round 12 and job security. All else equal though CHT the better bet for making money (I think thats essentially what you are trying to confirm right?).

I'm leaning towards double cows this week.  But probably means I have to keep Edwards.  Unless BMoz is back I can play him and cashout Edwards. Or play both Sivo and Rava again.

I am leaning towards Xerri or CHT over Okunbor.
Probably for Keighran, pending further updates on Dylan Brown

I'm sure Okunbor will do well, but you can't catch'em all and Xerri/CHT do better on price/positional cover.

Anyone able to tell me which side of the field Moses defends on? Trying to work out which edge he's up against this week.

I'm looking at both if I double cow. Dogs are good but that edge won't do that every week.
