Not really news, but Luc Leilua to the Tigers has now been made official.

Trent Merrin interests me if he gets the lock spot at the Dragons
Average of 44 in his last season (possibly a discount?) due to multiple starts at prop and off the bench in what was overall a down year
4 seasons prior he averaged 50+ and is exactly the kind of player the Dragons need to win a few rucks defensively without JDB

Is merrin going to have the output that he used to though? Think I'll steer clear.

Amazing what a group of hangers on and a dubious player manager can achieve when greed runs rampant. The Chooks got some great performances out of him
but inconsistency was there for all to see and the brains trust at the Chooks worked out it wasn't worth the drama. Rugby Union may be a bit gun shy about accepting
the Mitchell baggage train whilst in the middle of the Folau fiasco but after the World Cup debacle they need some new life to a moribund player group. Wherever he ends
up I doubt he will have the playing group around him that can support his frequent form dips that the Chooks were able to absorb.

I agree, obviously depending on the discount he receives and what average he's priced at. If he's around the 600k mark like where Lane started 2019 I think he's a good option.
Pros: Discount for time out of the game; plays 1st bye round (assuming he doesn't make Origin again, which you'd think is likely), proven pedigree with 45 AVG 2017, 56 AVG 2016; Dragons one of the weaker teams (though strong pack) so should rack up tackles & hit ups
Cons: May need readjusting to NRL standard (but only 1 year of SL), can he return to 2016 level and not depreciate average again

Merrin could be a good punt but I can't fit him in with Taumalolo in my 2fr

I think King would be there purely as backup in case of injuries. He has had enough trouble getting an NRL contract, I doubt he is making a best 17.

Yep! I had him in 2017 at the Eels and he was more than serviceable as my bench hooker (back when you could only have 2). Averaged around 40 for the time he was at HK.

What if he gets injured playing reserve grade? Who else can play hooker? Or even participate hooker

Magoulias probably relieves Brailey while he builds up to 80 mins

Robbie Farah, Paul Whatuira and Pat Richards - three of the heroes of Wests Tigers' amazing 2005 premiership victory - are coming out of retirement to play rugby union in the Dubai Sevens next month.
The trio will be joined by fellow Aussies Luke Lewis, Kurt Gidley and Luke Dorn playing in the Masters section of the event to raise money for charity.

Croft immediately added to Broncos 6 man leadership group. Makes sense. He will be tasked with leading the team around the park anyway. Expectations are clear from the beginning it would seem.
Unfortunately for Broncos fans, Boyd is still a part of those 6 men.

I think Croft will take a big step next year in his career. I think he can and will be a top tier halfback within the next 4-5 years. I would be very happy as a Broncos fan if they can keep him around as he is someone the Broncos have been lacking for the last 3-4 years. Full pre-season under his belt and if Milford retains the #1 jersey Croft will do a chunk of the kicking (yes I know Milford still did majority of the kicking at FB but thats because no one else could kick). Is Croft going to upset a lot of fantasy players again this year?

With Prior going to esl will A. Fifita get big minutes again. Also Hamlin-Uele should benefit as well with more minutes
