All of those players with the price bump so far would have been very high ownership

Yeah all of the players that were going to be hard not to put in your team have been bumped up ensuring everyones teams are somewhat different

Just putting together my spreadsheet of players of interest. Just went through every team and finished with 60 players. There will be a lot of draft teams to start my year!

Well done mate.  About to do the same.  Kinda wanted to work out a MN first.

I'm in the Milchy camp of he's not an auto pick. I don't think you lose anything captain wise going starting with Cook. In the first half of the year before origin he averaged 67.5. He averaged 62.7 across the season so there is potentially some upside, depends how they price him. I'm not saying I won't get Haas, just that he's not an auto pick.

McInnes would be an alternative to starting with Haas, seeing he's likely to play one game more. (bar injuries for both players)
McInnes average was 65 if you take out his score of 9 in round 14. He plays round 12 and looks to be the best captaincy option for that round by a mile.

Or if you can afford it... start with both Twisted Evil

I wouldn't even know where to start on how to make a MN. I leave that up to you smarter guys.

I did try to include at least 1 POD from each team also. Trying to make a team of 17 out of 60 players (+- the ones that pop up and go away during pre-season trials and team info etc.) is going to be hard. Did find majority of the players I picked were Second Rowers and Hookers. There weren't many backs at all, which appears to be the trend nowadays.

Does anybody want to have a crack at the minutes for each player in the Sharks pack?

The best I could come up with is

    8. Fifita (50 minutes)
    9. Brailey (80 minutes)
    10. Woods (40 minutes)
    11. Nikora (80 minutes)
    12. Graham (80 minutes)
    13. Williams (40 minutes)

    14. Hamlin-Uele (40 minutes)
    15. Magoulias (25 minutes)
    16. Rudolf (20 minutes)
    17. Bukuya (25 minutes)

Cameron Smith could be a sneaky POD next season. Everyone jumping on Cook/McInnes/Haas. Smith only played 2 games last year without Croft (R23 and 24) so there isn't much to go off, especially when these games he scored 51 against the Titans where he has 96 kick metres (could've been carrying an injury because he only had 54 and 0 kick metres in the two games prior. He then scored 74 against the Sea Eagles in R24 when he had 322 kick metres. This game I remember was a masterclass by smith. Storm, as always are being tipped to not reach the same heights as last year, so you would imagine a lot more closer games which means less chance for Smith to sit out. Downside is Storm's future... Do they give The Cheese more minutes at 9, do they give Grant some time because he is a future gun and need to keep him happy. Smith could come at a discount to McInnes and Cook this year and has every chance to better them.

Brimson at 462k doesn't seem to have a premium on him, unlilke Brayley, Isaako etc. And he's DPP. Get in my team (assuming you play fullback at R1)

What kind of role do we expect Brimson to play? Is he going to get involved? Is he going to sit back and pop up every couple sets? What is he like defensively?

    46200/14500 = priced at about 31.9.

Last year 8 games of 80 min fullback for an average of 42.8. The year before 4 games at fullback for avg of 50. Definitely some value there.

Very good price for Brimson and of course they bumped James up 80-90k or so!

What do we make of Ryan James?

Seems he is priced at around a 39.9 average which is a bummer.

If he plays second row I’m not sure he can average 50 points a game there.

That and I hate picking guys in their first season back from an ACL.

If he was low 500k’ I was gonna pick him for sure but now I’ll try find someone else with better value.

On another note if Souths don’t get Arrow for 2020 Knight could be one to watch.

Fotuaika is another one I’m keeping my eye on too but probs won’t get enough minutes if the likes of Wallace, Boyd and Whitbread are all fit.

What do we make of McInnes, for the first 2-3 rounds does McGregor pull him off at around the 65-70min mark and build his fitness up coming off that broken leg?

Or does the fact he has the captaincy and the fact he’s very likely to move to lock when Isaac comes on mean we think he will play 80mins starting from round 1?

I believe playing both hooker and lock for 80mins McInnes can punch out regularly 70ish scores or thereabouts but if he gets pulled off early that could see his scores drop back to around late 50’s.

The fact he will play the first bye round is appealing to me and the fact he should make more metres and tackle busts running the ball more when he goes to lock.
