It’s hard to say without seeing them both perform, and I’ve only seen Ryan Hall once at an underground karaoke bar in Soho - and we were both pretty wasted. Given Fergo’s a cruiser drinking roof dweller I’d imagine his chosen genre is hip hop and that’s not really my jam. So 1 vote for Hall, but that is purely a preference.

FYI - neither will be anywhere near my team.

So with Murray set to play some time on an edge and that’ll mean uncertainty for big minutes for Lowe and Su’a, are we now avoiding all 3?

No way !! I met Fergo in a karaoke bar about 2am one night. He was well off chops but still belted out a great rendition of Khe Sanh

    Surely this is not true?

I met Fergo in a karaoke bar about 3am one night. He was well off chops but still belted out a great rendition of Don't Phunk With My Heart by the Black Eyed Peas. I said "wanna do some Chisel?!" and he said he'd never heard of that drug and handed me a bag of coke

Surely one of Lowe and Su’a would get solid minutes if Murray is going to switch to the edge.

Or Su’a comes on after 25mins and Lowe comes off after 55mins when Knight comes back on pushing Murray back to edge.

Both Lowe and Su’a could get around 55mins.

Sorry, but I can't help myself.

I think ya gotta take a deep breath mate and wait to see how it pans out in the  next couple of weeks  lol!  Beer

Rabbits21 wrote:I’d be avoiding Su’a and Lowe now too, just too much uncertainty re their minutes.

Rabbits21 wrote:I can’t see Murray playing less than 68-70mins, maybe 80. If he is to have a breather it’ll only be a short one or if we are winning well he may pull him off with 7-8mins left.

Rabbits21 wrote:he will still be roaming in the middle in attack and once Su’a comes off the bench Murray will play some middle still in both attack and defence.

Also we have bugger all second row depth and Wayne mustn’t be convinced Lowe and Su’a can handle massive minutes each which tbh I’m not sure they’re up to it either.

Rabbits21 wrote:Cam Murray playing more minutes between edge and middle though could be very good for fantasy.

Murray on an edge as I said for some of the game makes Lowe and Su’a less fantasy relevant too.

Rabbits21 wrote:So 801k for Murray. If he is gonna play 80mins then you sure have to consider him.

Rabbits21 wrote:Murray will still spend quite an amount of time in the middle and he will be in a roaming role.

    lol!

Back row is currently, Lolo, D. Fifita, Williams and Stimson on the bench.

Hoping for a rookie winger and a rookie centre.

You think I’m in a spin now lol, just wait til TLT:bang:

Well if we are going to move away from the Souths forward pack, I think its a good next topic to work out the karaoke skills of NRL players

    George's karaoke an eye-opener
Just 24 hours after George Burgess found himself in hot water over the eye-gouging incident involving Robbie Farah, the Rabbitohs prop was in Wollongong singing karaoke at a pub with teammate Liam Knight.

Burgess and Knight had been invited to a luncheon with the Thirroul Butchers earlier in the day, and decided to try their hand at karaoke at The Harp after the St George Illawarra game against the Cowboys.

A number of Dragons players were in the building when big George - who is serious about pursuing a career in acting - took the microphone, impressing with the vocals.

    Who said this?

I still think it has to be smoke and mirrors, but I'm the same guy who a few years ago thought there was no way Mary would try to move Dugan from FB to centre. Or last season move Widdop to FB and waste a bench spot with Dufty. So, yeah.

I guess the upshot is he'll probably only stick with it for 3-4 rounds at most...

Wth a bit of luck, Flanagan will actually coach the team.

I think this was a quote from Ben Hunt from here: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/teams/dragons/flanno-shep-and-less-sweeping-plays-inside-the-dragons-real-big-shakeup/news-story/d18fc4a526f372a6e6b15fa8e8cd081b

If I remember rightly, in the 2018 preseason, some were talking up kodi nikorima as a fantasy option with the departure of Ben Hunt. Not too many were looking at Milford. After about 3 rounds I picked up Milford on the back of huge kms which was a good decision.

The point? When a player departs a team we make assumptions about who will fill that void, but what if you're making the wrong assumption. MS already pointed out that Gallen and Prior's exits might not benefit the young blokes as much as it might someone like Uele.

One I wanted to bring up is the departure of Cooper Cronk. Plenty are looking at Flanagan, but what if Keary picks up the Lion's share of Cronk's 316 kms? Even just half of those adds 8 to his avg. Add another 3 for his injury affected score. Possibly add an increased role in playmaking.

Concussion risk too great for some?
