Hey guys, need some help with setting up a Draft league for work. None of us have played Draft before. How does the squad size and layout work?

At no stage yet has Siebold shown any sign of easing Haas into anything, or giving him more rest than we'd expect. He backed up after origin one (in which he played 40 mins) last year and still played 48 mins on the weekend (lowest of the season, outside of that, he never played less than 57 mins)

We're going up to play our biggest rival in their new home ground in round 1, Haas, and everyone else, will be going full throttle.

If the Broncos start the season slowly the media will be all over Siebold. He won't be easing anyone into the season unless they have an injury problem. He needs a strong start to the year.

That's what I mean. Ease by his standards not ours. I still expect him to be 60-65 minutes, but people will be wanting more from him I feel. I don't expect him to be a sole focus of attack.

My point being, if you're picking Haas, you're getting what you get and don't be disappointed by a quietish score of 60.

Ah, yep see what you mean. Yeah, I don't really expect anything more than that. I'd happily bank a 60 in round 1, but those that didn't get him would feel pretty good with that result too.

It's funny, guy feel is I won't start with him, but whenever I try to rationalise it I argue him into my team haha 60 is his quiet. Unreal

Lolo (c) could be a good rd 1 punt with McGuire out.

Don't know that you can take much from it but we've managed to keep him pretty quiet lately, last three scores against us are 17 (34 mins, injury), 41, and 38. Prior to that though, he was banging out the usual scores.

Levi is going to carve up under Des. Word from Manly training is that he has put his head down, no nonsense, putting in the hard yards.

I like Levi at 500k to avg 47/48 more than Brailey at 400k to average 40 (all opinion)

    Actually agree with this.

Mentioned previously I think Brailey is a 0.5PPM guy.

I can’t have Levi at that price because I want a gun and friend and prefer Koro, but sound judge as always

    Would you rather:

    A) Brimson + Brailey + 46k

    B) David Fifita + Cheapie + no cash

Option A is my current draft, Option B is under consideration depending on what players will end up being viable options in the 2nd row

I think if Fifita gets an edge start spot, its pretty tough to go past him.... if that meant I had to sacrifice Brimson and Brailey I probably would, but to be honest, I'd likely go with all three of them (again, assuming Fifita starts).

Went to Steve Nicholls funeral yesterday, a pretty tough service to get through to be honest. Heartbreaking seeing his wife and kids. A fantastic service though, mostly of course as a result of Steve being such a top bloke, but those who spoke about him did so amazingly.

Fantasy NRL was brought up several times and in a day filled with sadness brought a bit of much needed laughter.

Glad I went, I didnt know him well at all, but feel I got to know a lot more about him, beyond the fantasy side which was 95% of what he and I discussed.

    Will be sorely missed.

B for the Boom/Bust option. Be surprised if Fifita is not a boom

Anyone have any thoughts on who could take the Dylan 'I forgot how to play Rugby League' Edwards award for the start of the year?

Josh McGuire was going to be a lock for my front row to start the season. Depending on team lists I might consider starting him on the bench and plugging in Luai to the 17 for 1 week

AJ Brimson has been getting a few mentions in this category recently

I wouldn't be surprised to see Papenhuyzen disappoint people (I still have him in my team)
