Yeah, Kerr is one I will probably have on the bench if he's in the 17 which I guess he will be.  I reckon he may start slow but looks great and will see more of a role in the team as the season goes on.

Can he get the mins without injury though?

Looks like Vaughan, Graham, Merrin starting middles, Lawrie and Sims bench. Kerr fighting for the last spot as they will no doubt carry a utility.

Roosters named their WCC side, with Crichton at centre and Verrills in #14.

Ikuvalu and Kepaoa on extended bench.

I still think Robinson is playing silly buggers re Crichton. He might play there at the WCC, but i'd be surprised if it is that way in round 1

I agree. It is just a matter of finding the ones that will average 30 instead of getting the ones that will average 15

    Pretty much this.

What he lacks in creativity, he makes up for in tenacity. He is always in the game, he follows the ball everywhere. He covers more metres than any other player on the field. When a break is made, he is the first guy backing up on the inside. He'll continue to get those tries because he is there to take the opportunity when it arises.

Doesnt hurt to be the coaches son and all the plays are drawn up for you as well :p

If Graham has any sort of injury I can see Merrin moving to be part of the prop rotation with Vaughan, Lawrie and Sims. From that, I expect to see Frizzell spend more time at lock and Jackson Ford given a go. He was one of the Dragons most impressive at the nines I thought. Can break a tackle.

Now I have Koroisau, Cleary, Luai and Aekins in my side. Think I have found my 2nd team for the year.....

I don’t buy it either. Are Crichton and Aubbs lining up same side, because that’s the obvious switch.

I think they're on opposite sides as Tupouniua is temporarily replacing Cordner at left 2RF and Crichton is obviously replacing Latrell at left CTR while Aubusson will be right 2RF

Where did this rumour come from?

He is named in the trial team for this weekend, do we really think he'd play this week if he was under an injury cloud?

I was curious about this so thought I'd join in. Interesting, and no doubt many changes to come.

Yeah Kerr probably can't get more than 30 without an injury I agree, but he's showed glimpses of some good stuff. Sims is trash too.

He's been trash for a long time, Kerr can probably leap frog him but I doubt it will be in round 1.

Yeah, probably will jump him in round 2 when Sims gets injured in round 1.

Lol. I’ve been excited about Kerr for a long time but I’d say he’s currently behind:

Vaughan, Graham, Merrin, Lawrie, Sims, Host, MCInnes conspiracy where he’s having a 20 spell at lock, Frizell having a spell in the middle. But if 4-5 of those 8 people get out of the way he has a path to decent price rises

Interesting. But still not buying it. To me it just makes them both traps.

If you are looking for base price FRF then Musgrove with no Eisenhuth and Packer and Rudolph with no Gallen, Prior and a dodgy knee Fifita may be the way to go. Both have more upside than Kerr.

I'm not sure where I read it but maybe NRLSUPERCOACKTALK.com often has inside info. Something like Graham reducing his mins and has a bad/crook neck. Nothing to stop the firy ranga playing though.

Musgrove is the most likely of the lot to work his way into a starting spot (or just big mins off the bench) of his own accord.

Packer effectively wasn't there last year, and Eisenhuth is still around.

For Sharks I think Williams is most likely beneficiary, Rudolph might go OK, but they still have Fifita, Woods and Hamlin-Uele ahead of him in the prop order
