looks nailed on to go well, then.....

Nah he passes the eye test. Those sideways palming runs are fantasy gold. Just needs to remain fit.

    https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/02/26/moses-gearing-up-for-another-finals-run/

    This article really just reaffirms my Moses selection. Seems to really have his head screwed on and seems very confident in Matto and RCG. He said Mau was always his protector and made him feel safe but the following line;

"But the stuff I've been doing with 'Matto' in the off-season. I'm very excited for what we can do as an edge."

really has me thinking they have struck some sort of connection there and he could very well be leading TA's at seasons end. His drive and attitude has really changed recently and I think it's a testament to the way he has been playing.

Get (STAY) in my team Mitchy. I wonder if he and Cleary could be NSW halves pairing come Origin time?

Warriors Prop stocks take another hit as 22 year old Jackson Frei has suffered a season ending ACL injury in last weeks match against the Storm; 2 Weeks after prop Bunty Afoa suffered the same injury during training

I think more good than bad. Can see him throwing a cheeky offload to Burns who bust a couple of tackles for a line break for an 80m try. Shame things never goes the way i think it would though.

BIAB/The Locker Room made a really good point earlier today.

This will effectively be Ponga's first full off season training at Fullback. Last year he spent all off season training at 5/8 and I think he started later in the 2017-2018 off season due to injury.

Cheapie backs play 80 minutes and most of them will score a try at some point to kick start price rises. They won't kill you if they score a 20 odd, even the true guns do that from time to time.

Rookie halves next to a non dominant kicker normally have a solid floor and a good ceiling. We have seen plenty of these over the years turn into keepers in their first season(Hodkinson, DCE, Reynolds, Hunt, SJ, Cleary). Below the backs on my pecking order because in this position a score in the 20s will kill your week

Rookie hookers generally have a hard time adjusting to first grade. Pace of the ruck, defensive patterns and controlling the attack makes it very difficult for a young hooker to move to keeper tier. They usual end up getting rotated or lose some minutes throughout the year. Most peak at a 40 odd average and need to be moved on. Solid floor while starting.

All the analysis says players starting on the edge get big minutes. Similar to hooker rookie edge players are likely to peak as mid rangers, however we have had exceptions (Crichton the most notable).

Rookie props normally bit crappy minutes off the bench and slow burn over 2-3 seasons before they are even playable in your fantasy team. As always there are a few exceptions (Haas)

Just coming back to this. All good points and I mostly agree, but for the first few weeks do positions really matter? I mean if you spend your money wisely and your team includes a guy priced at 55 scoring 60, a guy priced at 40 scoring 50 and a guy priced at 17 scoring 30, does it really matter what positions the points come from? I would have thought at least initially, as long as your guys are scoring well above their price it doesn't matter if that score is 30 or 40 or 50.

I read that somewhere too. Raiders said they didn't really want to let Murchie go as he is very well liked and has good raps on him in Canberra but they admitted he is behind a fair few players before he even gets a look in and if he can find an NRL team to play for they will be happy for him to go.

Charges against Josh Reynolds have been dropped.

Will be completely free to play (whether he makes the top 17 or not is another question)

GOOD ON HIM. Obviously we don't and probably never will know the full story but it appeared pretty suss, especially when the stuff came out about the girl doing it to multiple people and being a con artist or something.
