This is definitely my inexperience coming thru, but really feel like I’m losing (more) ground holding Cleary. Shouldn’t I just bring in another 55+ scorer?

Late mail - @GCTitans  coach Justin Holbrook says legendary winger Anthony Don (knee) needs a miracle to play in #NRLCowboysTitans . Jonus Pearson likely to replace him.

Legendary winger is a bit of stretch isn’t it

I did but I'm still not sold on the move. Both are top 3 WFB but it might be better to get the cheaper Turbo and hope Teddy drops further. My only concern is that I might not have the room to pickup Teddy in a few weeks and have to wait half the season to get him.

Few seem to be making trades like we have a wildcard. If they aren't a possible keeper, or a cow that is going to make 150k+ I'm not touching them

I wouldn't touch Hopoate, JTB, Flegler, Hess, Fuimaono, Holmes

If you already own these guys they are a wait and see, but I certainly wouldn't be grabbing them unless we had unlimited trades this week

In a regular season I'd probably trade him to Moses. With no Origin and limited trades, I think he is a hold as a final 17 scorer

    Good call.

There will be more cash cows next week after all the soft tissue injuries this weekend

I'd agree with all of that except Hopoate. The potential chance to make a quick 150k is just too juicy despite the risks. As someone else posted I'd rather make (especially this time of year) 150k in three weeks than more cash over a much longer period.

That's the one I was most borderline including on the list

I understand the upside but the downside is too much for me

There is a chance he ends up scoring mid 30s for 3 weeks and being a wasted trade

Same, after next week, I will have just good players that I want to hold while they gain cash, short of injury, non selection or really unexpected poor form, I will be struggling to find anyone to trade out, but lots of players I will want to trade in. Happy to add a player with a defined timeline to trade out when the rest of the team are long term holds.

    3 weeks of 35, then a 20, he still makes about $150k

You have Watkins - of course you need to trade. Unless you think you might want to hold on to a $352k permanent red dot all season.

Watkins to Grant should be locked in as one of your trades.

Othewise what you say is all fine. If you need a WFB to cover Kennedy, TTrbo or Isaako seem to be popular choices.

I'd probably also consider another 2nd row so you don't rely on Katoa (or just play Knight there I guess)

Thanks Milchy! Yeah I agree with the Watkins to Grant and have done that one, I was more saying I didn't need to trade him to field 17. He was definitely a goner though. As for the others...well I have all day to contemplate 😬

I suggest everyone reverses their trades ahead of lock out today and complete trades as late as possible this week. Likely to be a number of changes from TLT and you don't want to get caught out, unable to reverse them.

    Good call

Also reminder where possible and not looping, try to have DPP players on the bench with single position players starting for flexibility

On Hopo, in the past TPJ has played plenty of games on the edge. Are you guys not scared he will serve his suspension and come back on the edge?

TPJ, Te'o, Bullemor all chances to steal the spot. Too much risk for me

I have that thinking slightly with trading Horse in but more of a gut call and think he's going to have a massive year and will either score consistnetly and well enough to stay on the bench, or make enough coin to make it worthwhile in future rounds.

He is one where I can understand the upside, but I'm not taking the same risk

Upside is that he stays starting, scores 45-50 all year making him a borderline keeper and a good earner

I'm expecting that to happen. Gets 3 weeks as starting 2RF, then a couple of weeks on the bench when he returns, until Fifita is back.

Not worried about Teo, isnt even signed yet, hasnt played League for many years, no reserve grade available to play with first.

Me too. I am not touching JTB or Hopo this week. Too much risk around those players.
