Yeah to be honest the main reason I'm thinking of trading him out is based on the eye test - a lot of flailing arms in tackles and not a lot of impact ball in hand. Things like that probably aren't going to change much week to week.

    Katoa
    Rudolf
    Luai

I will get a look at Warriors final team lists before I decide, and obviously if Katoa is starting I'll play him. But assuming he comes off the bench who would you pick? Thanks

I think all of them should be 30+, so no major worries with any of them.

Katoa - Only needs 50 minutes to score 40 points. Hasn't played a full 80 (or even 70 yet), so being off the bench doesn't worry me.
Rudolf - Sharks team lists is much the same balance as R2. Could get 30 or 40 minutes at 1PPM. Hasn't registered a lot of TB's yet and is capable - could do it against the Tigers (just depends what mood they're in?)
Luai - Most likely to boom or bust. Could put up a 50+ IF he manages some good attacking stats, or could get in the 20's if not. I'm assuming that Burton is the main kicker.

I'm probably going with Katoa - still think he is the least risk and likely another 40 pointer. Although I have a history of scoring big in my NPRs so maybe go with anyone other than Katoa Laughing

Twal is very tempting, I just feel he needs to make 40+ tackles every week to get those big scores as he isn't a huge attacking type player. Last year as a starter he averaged 1.1 TB's and 105mg, also the majority of his TB's were against poor defensive teams like Warriors, Panthers, Bulldogs.

I just think some might be getting someone 40K less who will end up being a 48-50 point avg come seasons end, instead of paying the 40K for someone who could be a 53-55 point avg come seasons end, which using the general 15000 magic number 40K results in a 3-4 point diff.

Gotta think, the guy you're getting in now, you are getting his average for the rest of the season, not his first two games.

Maybe it's just bias because I am sold on Matterson. Only my opinion also.

I'm leaning Twal over Matterson because there's other 2RFs I prefer over Matterson (Tevaga after injury return, Bateman, Jurbo) vs less FRFs I prefer over Twal

I would prefer Matterson myself. I had Twal for most of last season and got frustrated with his lack of attacking stats.
Matterson should do well at the Eels

This too. As that bond grows he and Moses plus their outside back (Blake and Fergo) will all be running off each other like clockwork. Plus not owning Matterson the last two years and seeing him on 40 at half time was rough to watch so I want to be the one cheering him on this year. Could make the jump to a 55 point gun

Alright you've convinced me. I was going to go Levi > Twal, but now I'm going Levi + J Williams > Matterson + Capewell.

Twal has gone from being in a pack with Matulino, Packer (who may yet return from foot injury), Eisenhuth (who I don't know why isn't favoured by Madge) and Matterson at times at lock and now has inexperienced pack where he is pretty much leader of now

I was going to put the same question to the forum .... maybe

    upvote for Haas

    downvote for Lolo

.... I've gone for the latter as he's against the Titans

This is my current conundrum.. Twal or Matterson, however it also comes with the impact of having to go with Britt if I choose Matterson whereas I can get Horse with Twal. I think I'm leaning towards Twal and Hors..

I've come to terms with the fact I can't get Lolo in this week without weakening my forwards to a point that I'll probably regret later

Twal this week (before his price goes up), Matterson next week (price likely to remain similar)

Taumalolo has scored a try against the titans the last 3 games. My prediction would be a try in the second half, 20m out and running over a fatigued Peats

That tigers bench surely means someone is getting big minutes in the middle. Would moving Twal to lock be so that madge can play him for bigger minutes. Will be interesting to see
