    There is personal bias against Capewell from me, given his flexibility he could end up anywhere and often is. I've had him in years gone by but given i didnt start with him I'd rather grab Cook and MOFO over Capewell this week for example. I did fiddle in the centres this week in order to get Blake out.

    Can either go:

    Hughes -> Tedesco
    Shibisaki -> Paix

    and bank $91K to target Cleary in the next week or two

    or

    Hughes -> Ponga/Twal/Yeo
    Shibisaki -> Capewell
    Walters -> Paix

    No MITB to target Cleary, and probably won't be able to get Tedesco for a while, but potentially 2 keepers. Getting Twal would allow me to push Carrigan into 2RF which would be handy.

    Pearson intercepted 3 passes that would have all given him lba, ta instead of an error.

    Leaving me with 487k in the bank... Allowing me to grab Cleary in next week no problem...

    Koro
    Haas Twal
    Katoa Carrigan Leilua
    Moses Mann
    Crichton Capewell
    Papa Ponga Turbo

    Rudolf
    Drinkwater
    Grant
    Hopoate

    Mag (yuck)
    Luai
    Wiliame
    Kennedy

    Does anyone have any thoughts?

    Looking at similar trades

    Have you considered getting in JTB for better cash generation over Crichton, considering you have Wiliame who can play CTR? Also up against the Dogs this week

    Could you also still afford Cleary next week, if you went with Teddy over Ponga? Only a 40k difference and I like Teddy v Broncos compared to Ponga v Raiders

    Haven't flirted any Aubbs trades yet. Waiting for some more clarity on his return.

    That's a good point! I'll have a shuffle and see what I can do. Only thing is by trading in crichton I can hopefully just forget about the centre position, with two decent centres starting and wiliame on the bench. Gotta think about who i'll trade to Cleary next week and then see if I can get in teddy instead. Just want the one trade next week if possible (maybe Kennedy)

    Thanks for having a look mate Smile

    I don't think I've ever seen a season where so many fantasy coaches are trading in WFB keepers this early. The focus is usually on other positions

    I don't think it's any surprise that guttho, turbo, teddy all went gangbusters together. Played a similar role on the weekend. Those types of players are just way too valuable in a footy game where everyone is gassed.

    Total madness IMO
    We always see a low score or two from keeper tier WFBs to bring down their price. I grabbed Turbo at 643k only because Fifita was injured and he was the cheapest keeper

    Rule change and no byes means reassessing old strategies that aren't as relevant anymore

    I agree with you Loomer. If we had bye rounds it would be a different story and I would suggest to hold Lolo, but with it being a short season without bye rounds, these early rounds are crucial for making gains and positioning yourself right.

    Yeah I think I've settled on moving Aubo out as well. Too much uncertainty with him and the improvements I can make to my team by downgrading him to the likes of Crichton are too good to ignore. I'll just run with Capewell, Williame and Crichton in centres and not feel like I'm missing out too much in that annoying position

    65 BE. If he scores 80 only goes up 25k. What's the bet that happens and Lolo out another week all the Lolo holders will do Lolo>Cook

    Did some checking on MTB's site and came up that Crichton got 40 without a try (minus his goals), he also played 90 minutes. This is obviously good but not really sustainable for a centre unless you're Latrell at centre or an in-form Burns. Main question is whether he can maintain a 40 average, but more likely low to mid 30s. Example scenario he averages 30, and only gain 80k over three weeks. Obviously he could score a try, but so could Wiliame (who also got 32 without a try last week)

    On the other hand,  JTB does average 36 (minus his try last week) and now a starting front rower. An average of 36 will still net him 120k~ over three weeks. His minutes could also increase slightly at any time as he keeps improving so who knows - but his main appeal to me is his quicker cash generation

    If Wiliame can keep getting 30 that's good enough for me until someone really sticks their hand up in that position. Ideally Aubo gets his starting 80min jersey back but it's just a terrible position for fantasy
