If its bone bruising most likely it'll just be pain management once he's back.
I don't see him missing more than a week.

Like a few on here I’m sick of having expensive players out and in my reserves

Gonna cop this lolo one on the chin to not waste the trades but after a lucky start I’m definitely tempted to be super aggressive and trade him for yeo

Tracey was on the bench rounds 1 and 2 and Brailey played 80 both times. Tracey is probably just a utility for injuries. may give Brailey a break if he needs it, but I wouldn't be too concerned

If you started with Lolo, a trade out and back in when he's fit and healthy is logical enough. If you traded him, you have to wear it for at least 2 rounds surely? Trades are scarce. Any cows aren't guaranteed cash either. D- Fifita was an easy trade out decision as his injury has a lot of cloud from the outset

Tracey did come on at CTR both times for HIA though with Mulitalo R1 and JMorris R2 (but came straight back off for Morris after HIA cleared)

Cheers boi. I just think J Saf up against the Raiders up the middle. Rudolph played the least amount of minutes this week considering he started. Mind you could because of the stupid rotations

Oh mate I’m trading him out. Wish I did last week. But since she’s now on everyone’s trade out list he’ll do well. Always the way

Have seen this logic a lot the last few days of whether you have just traded a player in or had since the start. In reality it doesn't matter, any trades taken are "sunk cost", where you are at this point in time is all that matters, regardless of when you traded a player in.

Who does Aubbo spell if he comes onto the bench you reckon mate? Not worried about that potential then next week Aubbs starting and Crichton back on pine? I'd rather see Aubbs starting so I can play him and get in another gun in 2RF and not worry about the failed trade. I just like you really want Crichton in

If Aubbo is utility I would expect Verrills drops out. Aubbo covers injuries to backs and can spend a little time covering middle if anyone needs a spell

MS made a similar suggestion recently and I didn't call it out when I should have, but I am definitely calling it out now.

If someone started with Lolo and has 22 trades left, they are in exactly the same position as someone who traded Lolo in last week and has 22 trades left.

It doesn't magically cost you extra trades if you've had him for a short amount.

Once someone is in your team the price you paid for them and the round you got them are 100% irrelevant for future trade making decisions

Aubbs will have to go in that scenario obviously. Not against dumping him, hes a fair chunk of change to re invest

I was happy enough to hold him based on performance, but the poorly timed HIA 2 minutes after he came back on last week he halted any chance of cash gains for atleast 3 weeks. Gotta go for mine

What scares me most about making trades are the new rule changes.
Is McInnes now an 80-point player whose price will keep climbing until its an unprecedented 1.2 Million and nobody can afford him? Is Yeo going to keep scoring 70s whilst I keep saying “he can’t keep it up, I’ll pass”? Is Turpin a safe 60 for under 600k, and Levi a 50 for a scant $500k?
It changes the game a little and the usual strategies are completely out the window with so many unknowns. I can bring in Teddy and Turbo with change for Cleary next week and any other year that would be the right moves, but all these forwards making 50% more tackles have got me spooked

Yeo is a great buy at $732k if he just keeps up a 60 average, 70s he is a steal.

I probably worded it poorly in relation to Staggs. My thoughts were more that if you started the year with him you got him at 477k and got 4 quick tries out of him plus ~50k in price rises. If you got him in before round 3 you got him on the expectation he was an under priced keeper, one game without attacking stats probably shouldn't change that. Trading him out in the second scenario because he put up a score that is well within his range is just burning trades.

I guess it's more about the reason you traded a player in than the number of trades
