Does anyone think Brandon Smith can average more minutes this season or can he only handle 60+ if he's playing hooker

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 2 - Backdoor Entry
Just watched a highlight reel of Murdoch-Masila and read his bio on WikiP. He looks awesome - footwork, speed, power, tackle breaks, and heaps of tries. I know it's not NRL, but he looks the real world and fantasy goods. You reckon the warriors will make the most out of him?

Looks good. Same strategy as me having three big guns who play big minutes as your mids and then targeting those cheap edge forwards that will hopefully pick up 80 minute roles

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 2 - Backdoor Entry
there's so many cheap 2fr's that have a good chance to start - Davey, Riki, Ford, Gilbert, CHN, BMM, Blore...the only one not in my team is BMM because he's from esl. I saw a couple of his tries on the youtube video where the defense was non existent. However if the Warriors get on a roll he could be very dangerous...he could the the Kikau of 2021.

I am finding HLF cover to be issue in my early drafts. Lam is probably cheapest HLF I’m interested in (no interest in Hoy/Moylan/Milford)Honey Badger wrote:
Nice team. Id be a bit nervous about only having Averillo to cover a high scoring position like your halves
Basically means I probably have to downgrade gun

Welch is the pick of them.Bethany_B wrote:Which mid would you guys pick out of Tino, Horsburgh or Welch? Horsburgh if he can get the same mins as last year is clearly the best, but I'm also seriously considering Welch, since he's become a forward leader and has a good work rate, plus with Tino leaving there's minutes up for grabs.

Says that he is currently too heavy for 80 minute hooker playing weight. Would need time to adjust.Honey Badger wrote:Does anyone think Brandon Smith can average more minutes this season or can he only handle 60+ if he's playing hooker

there's a rumour B. Smith starting lock with Finucane into the frf rotation...if true B. Smith should at least get 55 mins

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 2 - Backdoor Entry
Reason for picking McInnes is he won’t play origin and he plays round 13. Yes he’s expensive but the DPP is great on top of him being a great captaincy option and playing that round 13 as I said.
The ploy of not starting with him and hoping his price drops by 80-100k, that may not happen.

I’d be very interested to see when people post their latest team, they state which version it is, ie version number 36.
I wonder how high the numbers would go, and who would have the highest number?

Are you concerned that only 1 of your players isn't coming back from a significant injury?
In all seriousness, probably the most sensible team at this point.

New coach, uncertainty over his future at the club, coach will want to change what didn't work at the club last year. There's no guarantee what his role will even be. He's a big no go for me.

Early money on Rabbits posting more drafts than he can count
You can decide if that is a dig at posting too many teams, or Rabbitohs fans not being able to count

Who knows, one of Foran/Cust/Croker, they don’t have recognised HOK in top 30 (except for Fainu who is still awaiting trial)rjconner wrote:Who is playing HOK for Manly? who was it last year? i'm running a blank right now.
Last year was Levi who was that bad he wasn’t re-signed

He'd still play 80 mins though wouldn't he?

Of all the things wrong with the Dragons, McInnes is not one of themHoneysett wrote:
