I was just having a nosey so not too worried, but if you think it's an easy fix I wouldn't mind having a play

I swear every year people get excited about the prospect of better minutes, and every year he fails to deliver consistently. Goes on a run of good form for a month or so and then reverts to normal.
if he is going to be goal kicker every year then the extra 5-6 points a week might be enough, But I've been disappointed by him in the past (and like Tom Trbojevic, and in previous seasons Aubbs I am considering coming back for more)
I like him in draft better than fantasy, but have been known to carry him.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 2 - Backdoor Entry
Is it just me or does there seem to be many more value mid-pricers than in past seasons? Particularly in the forwards. In a funny way it is making it much harder for me to settle on a team as i keep thinking 'player x' is more value than 'player y' and then i go with the cheap options and i end up having heaps of cash leftover. Of course, i then try to spend the cash but i cant work out which value player/s to cut.I guess its a good problem to have

Him and NBrown are probably the two premiums where faith could overcome my better judgment.
Mainly based on serving me so well in Nearly Sport.
Good summation by the way - I think if he’s kicking he might not need extra mins to be worth it

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 2 - Backdoor Entry
Do they just accept that they need to have two guys training as full time goalkickers? I do agree with Milch in that Robinson doesnt seem like the type to just play tauk for extra mins to have their best GK on the ground, which means someone else is going to have to keep up the practice too.
Its a strange scenario, but I guess its pretty common to see goal kicking treated as an after thought in Rugby League.

He's never kicked in first grade, but Tedesco has kicked in trial games before.
Lachlan Lam has kicked a handful of goals in NSW cup, so I assume he is the actual backup

You'll need to add the Solver extension to excel
This should step you through it

Yeh from digging it sounds like Lam/Keighran are the backups, not sure how Keighran fits into things though there will always be opportunity through injury.
I'm wondering if Lam gets his kicking up to a high standard whether he will just end up doing the job full time.

I reckon coaches should have all players practicing field goals and conversions. Skill improves with practice and having multiple options removes pressure.

Who's going to be hooker at Manly? Are we drinking the Foran Koolaid?

I think Foran will start in the halves so really it's between Cust & L. Croker, maybe they will share the hooking roll. After them Schuster but he's too young imo & they won't play him there

Im not sure what its worth but a friend of mine, who is cousins with Cust has said he was training at hooker. We were alittle tipsy (pretty drunk) so my memory might be abit iffy, But he is his cousin (Ive known this fella for awhile, he always tells me because im one of very few league fans where im from, but he's ligit about that)

I mean, it makes sense to me. Croker doesn't look like a good footballer, from what I've seen of Cust he's got a bit more to offer. Have to think the role will be shared anyway.

Billy Smith can also kick goals, but hard to see him pushing out J-Moz

Yeah agree makes sense for Cust/Croker to share it and Cust always looks more dynamic.
I still can't believe they haven't got a real hooker. Hard to see them making the top 12 without one, never mind top 8. Unless Foran can truly turn the clock back 10 years in the halves.
