What suggests he won’t get 80

They had Hunt at HOK for parts last year and McInnes played 2 games below 80 mins (1 HIA and 1 in a blowout)

The last time he played below 65 mins barring injury was 2018

Grant, Carrigan, Koro, Harris, Ponga, Crichton were the 6. Through this season we will see opportunities as well, with player injuries, roles changing and likely guns returning that are underpriced.

Furthermore on Ponga, he had only played one game between round 12 and 17 in 2019, when he came back in Round 18 he averaged 42.75 through the last 8 games of the season (inluding an 8 from 80 mins, and five scores between 32 and 42).  I had him in my team up to TLT and decided that it wasn't a good play to have him based on a hunch that he'd do better - which without hindsight was the right call.

Crichton had Aubusson in front of him (had played the last 13 games straight at 2RF) then selected there for the opening 2 games before the Covid break, his father passing away and an extended leave of absence.

It's pretty hard to pick those guys without hindsight or a good amount of luck

Read on radiers forum people suggesting CNK to Ctr and Aitken to FB?

Surely this doesn't happen. CNK is solid. Timoko or Valeimi are good enough to cover Croker.

I'm still keen to run with McInnes.
I can't see Macca go back to 80mins to start the season McInnes or BHunt may slot into the 9 later in the game if Macca starts.

Hunt basically confirmed he wont be playing any hooker this year, at least not in the plans.

    Others who have the potential:

Fogarty: averaged 61.4 in 80-minute games between rounds 9-19 last year.

Saifiti: He's 24 now, touching on 100 first grade games, another Origin series under his belt, and in eight 50+ minute games last year he averaged 59.9.

AFB: Unlikely but if the Warriors decide to play him 60+ minutes his average is 62.

Tino: Everyone's on him already and I think it would take a heap of attacking stats, but not impossible I guess.

Mahoney: Into his third year as a starter. Went from averaging 51 in 80 minute games in 2019 to 56 in 80 minute games in 2020. Not inconceivable he adds another 5 points to that this year? Maybe gets less minutes with Lussick and Roache hanging around.

Horse: A sample size of two whole games, but he averaged 61 when playing 60+ minutes last year. Can't see him getting that much of a role obviously.

Brown: Priced at 55, but averaged 65 in a 70+ minute lock role last year. Only a 6 game sample size. Unlikely to get those minutes consistently you'd think.
I love the thinking. Will need to look more into Fogarty.

Fogarty's run of form coincided with Brimson arriving in the team and running from the back. A really interesting option with a team that will be at least as good as what we saw at the back end of last season. Who is likely to be kicking goals for Titans this season and will he be next to Fifita and / or Kelly?

Fogarty has swapped to the left edge this season, there was an article on he and Taylor swapping a few weeks ago.

I'd be tempted if he stayed on the right, but you don't get a lot of right footed kickers kicking big kick metres from the left side.

Thanks fella! But I struggle to count to 10 at the best of times. I just remember laying on the bed and then a second later I was being woken up

Fogarty has been my starting hooker since Fantasy opened. Priced at like 49 and once he got into his groove his average shot up!! With a better team around him and another pre-season under his belt I think he becomes one of the elite halves. Lacks the GK stats to go 60+ but I reckon 55+ isn’t too much to ask for and plays R13 with no Origin.

As much as I find this likely bit of business by the Dragons uninspiring, would seriously consider Macca at R1 if this goes through as expected.

Don't do it! he will hover around 50 points per game, consistently scoring between 45 - 55 and moving up and down about $30k.

He will never be shit enough to be an urgent trade so you will look at him in your team in about 10 rounds and feel very sad

How long till this changes? Wasn’t Titans success built off the fact Fogarty controlled like 90% of the game and took the kicking/control out of Taylors hands??

Yeah, it seems a strange one to me. The same article he talked about how it is "his" team now.

Frizell missed 7 minutes throughout the entire 2020 regular season.
There is no way he can get more game time (unless you think he can play the entire season uninterrupted and get that extra 21 seconds a week) Do you think he will improve his workload at the Knights?

Also, how do you think Fitzgibbon out helps Watson? Barnett to edge when he would otherwise have started lock?
Fitzgibbon missing about a month, so if I only wanted Watson as lock (and didn't want him as a bench player) I am not sure this injury would be enough to sway me

Barnett is in the leadership group, so I assume he'll get a decent role, whether that is middle or edge.

Barry Toohey has stated Watson looking likely for 13 with Barnett on the edge. That was before Fitz injury.
