Dude at work actually pointed out the fact that I could use Milf, via Connor Watson, to become Simpkin. Had other trades lined up and don't usually like to jump on someone too early in this format, but doing it now should allow me to pick up Haas with greater comfort next week.

Simpkin should make money, plays Rd13 and won't play SOO, so sounds like a good idea.

Ok - so I have Fifita as VC and at half time he's on 128 pts, so I'm thinking, if he carries on at this rate I'll be needing to get him the armband.

I have Brett Morris as Captain currently and Tesi Niu on the bench. Am I correct in saying I just swap BMoz with Niu and that's it?

Just make sure to put BMoz in your 17 but yes shifting the C to Niu will ensure your VC score is doubled and the auto emergency will come in so your 17th score will be the lowest on your bench (of any position)

Surely you have someone else to sacrifice? BMorris should score well, you could take the Capt off him and still leave him on the field.

I'm trading out Papy for TTrbo, because I also have Teddy, so I need a FB.
This gives me money, so I'm considering:
Musgrove to Curran (for profit)
Musgrove to Pangai (for points and Rd 13)
Nui to Hynes (for profit, maybe points and Rd 13)

What's best? Any other suggestions? I dropped thousands of places last round, I need to recover quickly.
I feel I have ignored some cashcows: no Schuster, Simpkin, Condon. So maybe Curran? Is he essential?

I'm in exact same situation as you, except I have some other dud instead of Musgrove. I forget who. I can't even see now who I traded out, lol. I think it was Asiata?

I've gone for Curran as he's just too good to resist. Job security questionable, but far as I can tell it's well worth the punt.

Just looking at my team, I can't reverse any of my trades even though none of my trade-ins are C or VC, and I only have Ryan James from last night's game in my squad in my NPR. But my trades are locked in. I assume you haven't made your trades yet but can still do so? But once they're in mid round they're locked? Is that how it works?

Yes, once the round begins, trades are locked, so I try to wait until the last minute. But Melbourne play soon, so I'd better decide. I don't even know if I should trade Papy or Tedesco! I just heard an interview with Papy saying he hoped to play next week.

I'm trying to decide on a 5/8, as I have Munster and Watson as backup. Most good ones I'm worried will be selected for SOO. Does anyone think that Luai will be selected?

I truly don't know, but it's certainly a genuine possibility, as far as I understand. Anyone's guess, though.

Most of the guys on Fox and Nine seem to think he'll be selected? Wighton not playing as well this season and Walker hasn't always been a clear favourite for the selectors so can see Luai being at least 50/50 tbh!

Ok thanks guys, I'll try to come up with someone else. I have Fifita, Munster, Grant too much money to just leave on bench. I'll be out of trades this year.

I was 260th until last week when I had no Turbo sunday arvo... I only got 1270 so dropped back to 503rd. Had back to back 1390's the 2 weeks before that.

This week I went...

DFifita > Matto
Ponga > Turbo.... F'd up 3 weeks ago testing trades thursday arvo...thought id reversed before lockout... hadnt so I got Ponga for 729k instead of Turbo at 590k..... Grrr

I was going to go for Tofu this week for Fifita but I hope he will be cheaper than 690k in Rd15. Just need Matto to not be a mong til then and keep his head off peoples arms. Otherwise im toast pretty much.

I'm thinking of trading Laurie out for Ikuvalu and Fuimaono out for Liam Martin.
Are these wise?
Any negatives?

I already have Crichton, Matterson, Pangai, James and nuff: FRF Haas, Tino, Kamikamica and Utoikamanu.
I'll have $530 000 so maybe Martin isn't the best choice?
