If milford is not right to go with his injury then croft will need to be ready anyway

Pretty big call to post if he didn't have some sort of background info though, no?

    lol!

That was the other option! Nah listened to TKs podcast, I'm a bit behind, listened to the Storm one. Pretty funny, Welch talking about Munster and the table tennis Lol

I really don't get how you can axe a key member of your spine after one semi-serious trial match when you've been setup and planning to go that way since November/December. It's just terrible coaching/management IMO

    agree (if it's true)
in hindsight think kevvie should've played a full strength team for 80 minutes or close to it on the weekend
they needed some confidence. the second half capitulation + changing halfback is not a great look

Ah, fair enough. And no, I don't pay attention to any of them really, probably for that reason lol.

It seems that Dearden did spend time training with the 'ressies' in their opposed session today, but that is so far the only basis for the 'dearden axed' headline..

    We will see...

Any interest in a tipping comp? Would set up on the NRL site since we all use it already. Unless there's one going already..

What's the NRL tipping like? Just straight-up 1 point for a correct pick? Or do they have margin points and bonus points like in SuperBru.

Just listening to it now, sounds like they are onto a number of my PODs. Will have to listen to it regularly.

2 bonus for perfect round and one game per round has margin to split ties.

I haven't even looked that closely.

At first glance looks a lot like ESPN Footytips one, just standard tips with one match asking for a margin as a tiebreak. But that might be the default, with options to do margins/bonus etc.

Keen enough for tipping, already do it anyway, it's like with fantasy you can have one team in multiple leagues, one set of tips for multiple comps (my family, in laws family, work, and now FF)

Was looking at my second half. Is CHT awesome value or am I falling into a trap?

I'm hoping the former...Seems value to me especially behind a better pack. Has been a lock in my team

Some pretty average scores at halfback in the past which have kept me clear. However now I think about how there's a new coach and a much improved team on paper, maybe he could be a great pick. Particularly now I'm starting to wonder if Lam is a good choice after all.

Lam looked good, Crichton outside him on the left should get assists in attack and protection in defence. Halves partnered with Keary usually do well. Definitely some value with CHT, but yeah it's those low scores that concern me. In games over 70 min he has scores of 20, 28, 22, 25, 23, and 15, and a lot of those including some GK. Games at HB last year avg improves to 44, still has that 25 in there where Kodi kicked over 300m. Kid is a talent though and will improve so could very well gun it. But for 2021, I going to guess 43-45 which makes him just passable as a pick but I think better value/potential elsewhere.

Aloiai is saying he is targeting 55-60 minutes this season (was on the bench in the trial coming back from injury).
