Those guys have already been playing those sorts of minutes though so I can't see a real gain for them fantasy wise.Beast From The Big East wrote:I can't see any props playing 80. There will be a few though that are 60+ regularly though. The likes of Woods, Bromwich, Graham I can see definitely playing 60-65's per game

While there isn't a great difference if that was going to happen I'd bet it would be Tolman not Graham.SoylentGreen wrote:
IF Graham were to play 70-80, I'd say it would be 55-60 at prop, and the remainder at lock.

Another player that doesn't get as much recognition Fantasy wise but still does the job week in, week out is Tolman. Shame I can't fit him in my starting side for round 1. Have some man love for the bloke that's for sure.

Woods only went over 60 minutes 6 times last year and Graham only 7 (out of 16 played). The only one who consistently racks up 60+ games is Bromwich. I'm thinking the big minute props may add another 5 or so on to their average for most games. Then you have the guys like Merrin and Surgess who switch between a prop and a lock multiple times in the game

I like the L. Douglas pick. Titans are seriously shallow in the FRF stocks and Shillo ain't getting any younger TBH. Could mean a few more minutes for the boy and he already averages pretty well.
Ryan James will shift to the front row this season. Pettybourne averaged just over 40 mins and Shillington averaged 47 mins last season. James will play more than 20 mins so I can't see Douglas increasing his minutes ( he averaged 53 mins).

Funny, cause he was my other starting prop last year. I'm pretty sure I went the whole season with those 2.

There are beep test run over 20m, standard version and beep tests you can run over 15 or even 10 metres. The shorter the distance the longer base endurance is put out before sprinting becomes involved.Bren wrote:
Didnt even reach 15? What? Even I have reached 15 in the beep test, mind you Im coming back from a knee injury so dont ask me to run one any time soon.
Standard ones over 20m a score of 15 or 16 is considered elite & 12-13 is high ranking.
I strongly doubt the one you ran and the one the Broncos ran was 20m.
The afl draftees top beep test runners hit 14 and 15 only.

That's a pretty unimpressive back row.

The whole squad is pretty unimpressive. Newcastle and the Tigers may have competition for the spoon this year.

I can't see much changing n regards to middle forwards rotation. The 2 interchanges will be saved in the backrow/hooker change. We may see only one change at hooker say at the 50 min mark instead of the 2 (at 30 and back on at 65) much like the Broncos did last season only this year the hooker will only come back if there are changes left. Similar for the back row, some teams like parra would rotate 3 players through the 2 spots costing 2-3 changes. They are more likely to make just one change this year

He said he wanted to be the consistent player Dave Taylor never managed to be. Good to see he's setting his sights high

He was a bit underwhelming last year. He was pretty much my first picked in 2015 based on his terrific form in 2014.Loomer wrote:I think i had Bromwich for the best part of byes onwards last season and he never lived up to his price tag from memory
