If JDB gets 80 mins, especially if named at lock, I think he is close to a must have

Birdy wrote:Just saw a WIN TV news report on the Dragons pre-season. It featured Dean Young taking the boys through some training drills. When Young was asked to name a player that he expected to have a big year, he said JDB. Expects him to play rep footy in the next year or 2 and mentioned he is now a big part of their forward pack. Does this hint towards an extended role for JDB and potentially big mins?
thanks for this tid bit. i have JDB atm, albeit tentatively, but i think i'll lock that spot down in my 17 for him

my tv broke wrote:so what is the sharks backline situation? i had a peek at their forum last week and most of their posters had barba as their #1. now i know their opinion means nothing but has something changed in the off season? i thought he was WELL on the outter there.
He's also named as #1 for the 9s. again, 9s doesnt mean alot, but the sharks have effectively named a proper team of 13 players (obviously missing some full nrl team players).
This is downright cheating - I reckon they'll struggle to get away with fielding a full 13 in the 9s

in desperate need of some WFB's cashies. three 300+ wfb's looks like far too much money to spend there.

If you want a good chuckle you should google image "tarek". Definitely a wide variety of images pop up. Lulz were had.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 4
if it concerns anyones fantasy selections... Anthony Milford, Jarrod Wallace, Ben Hunt, Dylan Napa, Edrick Lee and Chris Grevsmuhl are now also blocked from QLD selection this year.
LEE!!!
to be honest i doubt any of them would get a run if there are no injuries.. but if say, thurston and cronk are both injured, it will make for interesting selections in the halves this year.

Could straight swap McGuire with JDB but I'm not sure I want both JDB and Ah Mau in my forward pack. A Fergo to Holmes downgrade gives me the cash to do Ah Mau to JDB though.
Worth it?

no but all potentially underpriced players depending on what role they get given this year who are less than 300k. besides that none who I can think of. Hopefully we get some breakouts at the nines

Haven't lookes at a bye planner but is that bad news for every 2nd team that starts with him?

Surely Morgan retains his spot as he is more versatile, plus he doesn't run sideways like DCE.SI wrote:

@Soylent, no qualms personally starting with Surgess. May drop a bit in price the first couple of weeks, but will be hard to get him in if you don't start with him.
