There is never a shortage of duds in my team after round 1

Probably wouldn't pick him up though if I don't start with him, not worth the trade to bring in a bench middle who will make cash slowly.
Its tempting to start with him purely because of his price, and there's that feeling that he has a big year even if he's a slow burn early on.

I've been saying for years that every team should carry an outside back on the bench. It just makes sense when you see how many teams get fucked by HIA's and end up with forwards at centre getting carved up.
Obviously doesn't suit every team but you need some flexibility. Four forward (bulky ones) bench is madness these days imo.

He and Laurie are the only base priced players that look half decent. Really surprised anyone is leaving him out and he is my 7th midmy tv broke wrote:

He has 7 games in his career where he has scored 40+. 4 of those game are where he has started 2RF. Those 7 scores are 51, 75(1 try), 75 (2 tries), 46, 45, 47 (1 try), 40. Bold = 2020.
He also averages 2.4 missed tackles a game at 2RF.
Priced at 36, I don't see him landing more around 40-43.

On the plus side, their bench middles last season played off the interchange an average of:
Kaufusi 24 minutes
Pap 45 minutes (in a heavily depleted Warriors pack that changed every week)
Hipgrave is primarily an edge and Smith is there to cover hooker and backline.
Someone is getting huge minutes, and the coach says it is Paulo.
I had BSmith last year and he was disappointing. Unless you're planning to get rid of him when Grant gets back I'm not sure he's worth it. Just doesn't get the minutes to justify his pricetag.Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:Having trouble deciding
