    Brailey
    Ofa Watson LAM
    Siro Fifita
    Cleary Townsend
    Opacic Momo
    Ted Mitchell Pappy

    Liddle Toops Leniu Laurie

    Alvaro Moylan Mead Niu

19K left.  I know the bench is tight but I think the likes of Cleary and Ted have to be here or else it's not worth doing and Mitchell is too good to pass up and Fifita got 60 doing nothing so I think is a safe bet.  Skipping Lodge, Bird, Riki, Lam, Avo, will be interesting to see any result later on.

A few I'm thinking of that I've missed are Milf, Jackson, Young, Fui?  Probably more.

I actually thought about something like a hindsight based league where you pick a team after round 1 and go from there, pretty dope concept anyway

Wouldnt surprise me if Tino was the beneficiary of the extra minutes. Will be surprised if he plays 65 minutes every week

If Davey gets the start this week I still think my best play is to trade:

    RTS to Peachey
    Croker to Davey

    Would leave me with

    Turpin
    BSmith Watson Welch
    Fifita Davey
    Cleary Lam
    Peachey Roberts
    Tedesco Hoy Laurie

JBrailey, Liddle, Leniu, Chricton as loop

Have a look at Riki's score, then Averillo, Uto, Simonsson.

Positives: Got cover everywhere after the trades, Don't have to play both averillo and Roberts, get peachey (keeper) at centre, and much better 4th reserve in Davey if starting, get rid of Croker.

Negatives: Lose RTS (whom will go well this year), use two trades.

If TLT throws up nothing of note then I'm not trading. Probably the first time ever holding trades in r2 😮

Yeah, I'm interested in seeing how it plays out. I mean, I'm 900 points behind already but 2 trades up and hopefully a few extra players locked in for a while. People do similar things with sniper teams aiming at bye round points so this is just a slightly different concept.

Just something for discussion while we wait for the clock, how much do people think Panthers form last year contributed to Cleary's score if at all?
Normally the talk around a half's performance is tied to the pack he plays behind, but then Cleary is picking up a decent chunk of points from kicking, tackles and the like. Then again surely that kind of winning streak had to have a positive effect on all players in that team doesn't it?
Or perhaps to frame it another way, if oppositions "figure out" panthers and they aren't so dominant, would you expect his score to drop at all, if so how much 2 points, 5, none - it actually goes up cause he just kicks the ball even harder?

It doesn't matter. The NRL Fantasy Gods sent him down to replace CS9 as The Messiah. He is the chosen one. The NRL gods giveth us Cleary and they can easily taketh away (all my centres last year)

I wouldn't only worry about minutes, I'd also worry about whether he actually stays in the team each week. With his injury history and our depth it wouldn't shock me in the slightest if Ricky rests him every now and then to ensure he stays fresh. Also gives an opportunity to continue the development of some of our younger guys. I'd expect a bit of a rotation this season.

Fogarty 63 all base would be mighty tempting if I had the bank. Gonna have to settle for the Chad instead.

they made the point on the NRL.com fantasy podcast that Penrith had something like 60%+ possession last year (can't remember the exact number) which contributed to more kick metres to his base plus extra attacking stats and goals because Penrith were on fire. Penrith have had some key losses over the off season so they'll drop a few games this year but I wouldn't expect him to avg less than 65 really

Aubbs out of retirement plays edge and gets traded in after a 69, only to re-tire the next week
If Laurie is out, who plays fullback?

I’ve seen people talking of dropping Host.
They play Manly this week. If he can’t rack up points against them on an edge, he never will.

Agree with this. Reckon Ricky will be rotating quite a bit, given the depth. Id expect players like James, Soli, Emre, Sutton, CHN, Horse, Havili to be more rotated then the rest though.

The Mole reporting that Cust and Harper might be looking for new clubs (probs just clickbait from the Mole because Manly got pumped and he needs some clicks so take with a massive grain of salt)

Absolutely ridiculous the PC world we live in! - Sharks forward Toby Rudolf has received a warning from the NRL over “offensive and derogatory” comments made during an interview after Cronulla’s win against the Dragons.

Can't have a laugh without someone getting butt hurt.

This was what I was referring to when I asked if anyone saw his post match interview, it was so good, so funny for a guy who hasn't had much air time yet. He needs more. Nothing negative in it at all. Legend.

If Cust hasn't been shown or he can't see a pathway to 1st grade soon, then he should go elsewhere. He looks awesome.
