Storms round 13 games is before Origin 1 though so if he is good for the Storm the he should be good for Origin thus gets picked?

    Here's a special James Fisher-Harris table.
His minutes are highly variable ranging from 36 minutes to 59 minutes.

    However, look at his MG.

    Conspiracy theory:
Does Ivan have a rotation strategy that JFH gets rested just before he hits 200MG??

Walker.  I can understand why some are reluctant to trade out a green dot, and are prepared to ride his price and score fluctuations to have a player in round 17 when they will be few and far between.  But I would rather not risk losing more money on someone who I don't regard as a keeper, when I can 'upgrade' to Hynes who will hopefully make some decent cash in the short term (with less risk of a low score).

I'm pretty sure I'm making that trade.

I've worked out that I can hold the second one, have a look at Laurie and Alvaro's scores pick the best one, or if they suck I can then trade Crichton to someone. Anyone want to venture over the hive of scum and villainy and check my setup? Also is Crichton definitely back in rd14?

Walker to Hynes is a good trade.
I picked up Hynes for Simpkin last week and will be holding SWalker for rd17. But if I hadn't done that the Walker to Hynes trade would have been a serious consideration this week.

Hit a dilemma ladies and gents!!

    What would you do?

    a) Walker + Simpkin > TPJ + Lewis + 72K (holding Crichton and Pappy + likely 0 trades next week + only need to really worry about Fifita after Origin 1)

    b) Walker + Pappy > TPJ + Lewis + 502K (trade Simpkin next week + try and get Pappy and Fifita back after Origin)

NOTE: already a Baked Beans and Peanut Butter Cups owner.

I’m considering trading Walker now. Would prefer to trade him to a gun though. Although the sub 600k category is looking sparse indeed

I'm spewing I don't have enough for Hynes to Walker in a single trade.

Worth trading Simo to Kelly or someone cheap to trade Walker to Hynes? Or I sacrifice Alvaro now for a cheapie?

Anyone gone in depth about Jackson Ford?

Base point heavy 56 is a good sign in 60 minutes

Papy is not integral to NSW's chances.

I don't think they'll risk picking him if he hasn't been playing. There are other players that will be equally useful for that utility role. There is a chance he'll be fit for Melbourne and not play origin.
My feel at the moment is he'll be ruled out of both.

Craig and the Storm sound pretty content that he can spend another 2-3 weeks on the sideline with Hynes doing more than enough as a viable replacement.

Thoughts on Walker and Stefano to Ford and Lucy??

Basically hangs on whether Ford can back up his score last week?

Where does Schuster sit as far as being a borderline keeper goes? I was thinking of trading him out next week to someone like McCullough but I don't know if it's worth it.

Schuster has a decent floor of 38 points but needs attacking stats to go higher which he can easily do but McCullough can just tackle his way to 50+ most weeks. The one score below 50 he has was the game against the Storm where they played with 12 men against a team that likes to play to the edges.

Personally, I don't think so. Particularly as you already feel like you're running a bit low on trades.  No other options to get him in with one trade?

yeah, nah. wouldn't make that trade given Crichton will only miss the one week I think (although he will probably miss round 17 as well)

He played a bit of lock last year, so I think you are better of using his longer term average of 47, rather than a one-off 56

That's still not too shabby, so if you think he'll get good enough scores/price rises in 4 weeks then go for it.

Ponissi said on Tuesday they hoped he'd start light work this week. Unsure if that has happened or not.

Ponissi's comments conflict with what the CEO said.

Who is closer to the team on the ground though? Ponissi is with the team.

Yeah I think Hynes and Burton are the premium trade in options this week.
Hynes for points (incl. rd13) and quick cash generation
Burton for points (incl. rd13) a keeper in the CTRs, and a handcuff for Cleary

There is a small chance Burton gets picked for Origin, but I think this was only floated in the media because he scored 3 tries last round.
