Is Timoko a buy? Apparently Croker has given himself 2 weeks to prove himself a spot in the team. Simmo probably stays fullback now (looked 100x better than Aekins). Has he beaten Kris for the vacant spot left my Scott and will Croker even come back?

EDIT: Kid also looked strong as fuck. TB machine!

I will laugh when everyone jumps on Simo and he scores 20 this week.

I only bought him so I wasn't down to 15 players and to fill in with Teddy/Turbo/Walsh all out. I might put him in the loop this week but otherwise I'm under no illusions I totally fluked it with him.

I didn't plan for any of the byes and my focus is on getting to the final 17 as quickly as possible. This has meant pre bye round I was 6310, then bye round 7138 and now currently a live rank of 4146. I would imagine Round 17 I'll drop back to around 7000-8000 but should be able to make late in roads on the run home.

Thinking it's time to let Matto go. Absolute gun last year, but has only played 80 once since I got him. Had a good game in 13 but has gone for 40, 38, 71 (rd13), 31 since he stopped playing 80.

Yeah, it irritates me greatly, but pending something big today, I think it's time for him to exit my team. Just can't rely on him for a decent score any more, which is why you get a player like him.

Yeah gotta bank on 50+ I can't see anything changing with the bench they run and ipap beasting. He might play 80 sometimes, but I expected it every week.

    Stats you didn't expect:

Nathan Brown has so far only given away two penalties this year and the first was in round 12.

    I'm holding firm with Matto.
Guy scored 73 last week and was rested this week when the game was gone.
    Playing the Bulldogs next week.

Can't see any reason to get rid of him.

Agreed. Only possibility I considered could be if Lussick kills it while Mahoney is out and they give him a bench spot when Mahoney is back, but that seems a real long shot, and definitely not worth holding out until R18 to find out.

There were a few binnings and HIA's in yesterdays game. A lot of people sometimes mistake this for player x getting more minutes but sometimes it actually goes in the opposite direction and stuffs the coaches rotations up and when player x is meant to stay on for 80 minutes or in other cases come back on after y minutes the coach can't do that because he is forced to use up an additional rotation on a middle player for example who needs another rest cause he has done 2 stint's instead of 1.

My random assortment of thoughts for the weekend

I’m thinking the knights improve with Ponga and Pearce back shortly. Might hold Brailey but sell Watto for a R17 player with similar price.

Laurie to Roger for not much coin seems like a no Brainer, am going to wait and see how Warriors are named this week.

Time to get in my team Tohu but given there aren’t heaps of R17 guns, I’m going to start thinking about players who might get an increased role due to origin. The R17 Burton equivalent.

Fingers crossed for a R17 cheapie. Had Simonsson since round one and have been holding Verills this whole time.

I’ve got 17 trades and now is the time to use them.

Probably plays 50min again against the Dogs? 73 is his only decent score in 4 weeks, thanks to a try. I just don't feel comfortable with him in my 17. I'll use the week to cool down, but for now I just want someone I can rely on. Maybe use Laurie to aim for Tohu.

Me too! Started round rank 85. I'm hoping I should shave 15-20 spots off that?
