In non injury shortened games JWH averaged 52.5 minutes, Napa averaged 50 minutes, Moa averaged 40 minutes and Evans averaged 27 minutes. Its logical with the JWH injury everyone will just step up into the next slot. So Napa 52.5 minutes, Moa 50 minutes, Evans 40 minutes, Frei(or whoever else is named) 27 minutes. Looked into Moa's fantasy prospects picking up an extra 10 minutes but his average only jumps 3 points in games above 45 minutes. The real interesting choice in that Roosters pack is Kane Evans. He averaged 30.5 in his 27 minutes at a ridiculous 1.132 PPM, as to be expected from a bench prop. However in 2 games JWH was injured early Evans was forced to play extra minutes. In round 4 he played 41 minutes for 37 points at 0.9 PPM. In round 22 he played 43 minutes for 47 points at 1.09 PPM. Priced at just $273,000, Evans could be a nice mid range cow for those who are not convinced about Packer and Lawrence.
where have you heard this about JWH? Thought it was 2-4 rounds with rumours he was a chance to be back for round 1....just seen the article rounds 5-10...bugger

    http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/teams/knights/jaelen-feeney-could-start-the-season-as-newcastle-fullback/news-story/ff01728b86b8ab94d1c4cf6ed3542cd0

tele reporting feeney is nose in front for the fb job in rnd 1. quotes from feeney say he'll be playing fb in their next trial v raiders.

its almost not fantasy relevant because if he gets it everyone will have him in their NPR's anyway.

Evans, Stockwell, Paasi are good shots. Evans as you say probably the pick but if Stockwell gets a starting gig he's got the same sort of ppm like Evans. Paasi should get good minutes in round 1 if Douglas is suspended but if he keeps the starting role he's a good shot as well. I'm actually thinking of going with A. Fifita, Stockwell, Evans & a nuffie as my front row but tempted by Passi instead of the Nuffie due to his dpp status

Nice little casualty ward you've got going on in your Ultimate League team with Frizell, Munster and JWH Wink

Evans has been on my radar for a while. Pretty much all the Roosters pack are interesting with Cordner and JWH out. Could Guerra become a gun?

It would be great if Barba and Feeney could both get the fullback spot. With both being DPP would allow for some nice flexibility

I know haha JWH too good to leave on the board and Munster/Friz only out a round or 2....can't see much extra for Napa in terms of minutes, Evans is very interesting but I reckon Tauk gets extra minutes and Liu! Guerra already playing 80 so will need to be more involved in attack to turn into a gun which is a possibility without Cordner, I have had Tauk since the Cordner injury and backing him to be the main beneficiary of it

Love Vaughan vastly underrated and perfect opportunity for a bigger role without Shillo

Feldt was out way before Moga got injured. He was out because his form sucked in the opening rounds. He was then killing it in Qld cup later on at about the time Matt Wright's form went downhill.

Edit: I think now though he starts over Wright. And I like Moga but he'd be doing well to edge out Oneill

Looks like I might end up with a few too many Roosters to start the year.
    Ferguson
    Copley
    Evans
    Hastings
    J Nikorima
    Aubusson
    Frei
Noneof these will be keepers unless Fergo does better then expected. Niko will have to be traded before Pearce comes back and the rest will be too prior to JWH and Cordner returning

True but the question might be which NPR slot to put him in, HLF or WFB?

So no Cordner JWH Pearce + 2 rookie halves and you want 4 Roosters backs?

Quite right the relevance is if he doesn't get it.

Like Jack bird last year these sort of guys can not only be a saved trade if they are that close, but don't start season... But a one trade advantage if they become must-have cows and I'm sure anyone that plays this as trigger happy as me, need all the saved trade stories you can get!

Put him in my team on the back of the last article Re: him vs Mamo, so will leave him there now

Has Pearce officially been punished yet? He made a fool of himself, missed nines, trail games and went to rehab. I have a feeling he plays Round 1. Unless I am missing something.

not yet but theres no way he plays NRL before round 4 at the earliest. imo

roosters will be doing their best to smooth everything over with the NRL/etc. he will have to miss a bit of actual NRL for his rehab to seem like they are taking it seriously. (i'm sure they are, but they need to appear to everyone else that they are as well)

Who is this guy on weapons with his website making insane predictions like Luke to average low 60s and Packer 35-45pts
