Everyone is forgetting to mention Jarrod Kennedy and where he fits in, because he will definitely be playing

Don't see how he fits in until injuries happen. Unless Soliola or Papali play prop, then I think Barnett will be the second bench prop.

Mounties. Zero chance he beats out Soli, Whitehead, Fensom and Papa. If we get Tapine this year I don't think he is ahead of him either.jstands wrote:Everyone is forgetting to mention Jarrod Kennedy and where he fits in, because he will definitely be playing

True enough mate. You're right about Evans filling out. He is a monster. NAS is the same. How can 2 individuals that are so young be so friggin huge.
Yeah it's nuts. Anyone seen highlights of NAS playing rugby in NZ? He blitzed them

Whatever the Raiders do I hope they leave out a bench hooker so Hodgson can play 80 minutes and be a value buy. I'm sure Baptiste would be good for a couple of quick runs against tired opposition but y'know for the sake of my Fantasy team, Ricky should definitely go with an all forwards bench.

Haha, you don't make it easy mate! I think most would say Ah Mau and Paasi for the long term.

Few times last year Hodgson played 80 with Baptiste unused on the bench.
I'm hoping that happens more regularly this year. Not sure if I'm willing to bet on it though. But if Baptiste misses out Hodgson is pretty much straight into my team.
Whitehead is going to be very tempting if he does land the starting spot as well

I see a problem and that being the minute you select Hodgson, that clown of a coach will bring Baptiste onto the bench for round 2. I am avoiding ALL Raiders players.

Whitehead has so much upside for me. Worth the gamble.

Yeah I agree, re. Whitehead, he's not in my team at the moment, but if somehow he gets the starting gig then there's no way I can leave him out. I still think he comes off the bench though, the Raiders back row were their strength last year and I can't see them changing too much.

Yeah I rate Guerra in Fantasy land. He helped keep my team afloat in 2014 as a nice little POD and I started with him last year before he got injured. With Cordner out he should become the go to back-rower in attack for the Roosters and should get through a nice defensive workload. I'd hazard a guess he'll score around 45-50 most days with an occasional big score and maybe a few 30's on a quiet day out.

Let's be honest & get our real life cap on instead of our fantasy cap. Do we really think Whitehead will start & not be on the bench. Soliola, Papalii & Fenson are an experienced backrow that performed to a high level last year & imo Whitehead will not displace any one of them unless there is an injury.

Really contemplating starting with Stockwell over Graham. Graham is set and forget but Stockwell I can see making money and I can really use that money elsewhere

Yes I saw him rip the Kiwis apart. Very impressive & looks a real handful to contain. I hope he does start so I can put him in my team.

He may start from the bench as he adjusts but i can't see him being there long, has an x-factor Fensom/Soliola do not have

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 6
Did anyone else catch the interview on what I assume was 7 with Massoud and Api. Only got part of it on the rush hour this evening but sounded like he was pretty keen to get back into his footy. If thats the case surely it means that Parcell only gets half a game at most?
