    Thanks for that Andy,

Lichaa stays put if that's the case.

Still bugging me about the article I read, nearly fell out of the chair when I saw Lichaa may be out for round 1.

    Not sure, it could've been.

Just noticed on the zero tackle link Andy posted, it says Bulldogs have no injuries but Hopoate and B Morris are definitely injured.

This is true. Latest reports I've heard is that they might both be fit round 1. http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/league/76864024/canterbury-bulldogs-coach-des-hasler-plays-down-hopoate-morris-injuries
COuld be Des playing tricks though.

Also breaking news on stuff.co.nz says MANNERING has quit as warriors captain... more soon (no story yet just headline)

    edit:

Simon Mannering is quitting as captain of the the Warriors.

This weekend's preseason clash against St George Illawarra in his home town of Nelson will be his last game in charge.

He will be replaced by Australian import Ryan Hoffman.

Loney has also put up his first Q&A for the year including a stab at likely goalkickers

    http://www.nrl.com/scout-report-pre-season-fantasy-qa-1/tabid/10874/newsid/92944/default.aspx

Can you do a likely goal kickers list again this yr? A few clubs will have new ones this year.
    From Matthew Lippiatt-Sidman

    Here are my best guesses:
    Broncos – Corey Parker
    Raiders – Jarrod Croker
    Bulldogs – Moses Mbye
    Sharks – James Maloney
    Titans – Tyrone Roberts
    Sea Eagles – Jamie Lyon
    Storm – Cameron Smith
    Knights – Trent Hodkinson
    Cowboys – Johnathan Thurston
    Eels – Michael Gordon
    Panthers – Jamie Soward
    Rabbitohs – Adam Reynolds
    Dragons – Gareth Widdop
    Roosters – Jackson Hastings
    Warriors – Shaun Johnson
Wests Tigers – Jordan Rankin/Justin Hunt

a bit about koroisau. he's been training but only missing footy because of a recovering shoulder injury, but should be ok for rnd 1. no real indications of who will start. gut feel is they will share mins fairly evenly..:

“The shoulder’s actually quite good, I’m ahead of schedule, so hopefully I’ll be ready for round one,” he said.

“I don’t think I’m at a disadvantage, you still train pretty hard and you show a lot of what you’ve got at training, which is where it counts.

“(Trent) Barrett hasn’t really said anything to be honest.

“He said at the start of the season that the spot was up for grabs so I think that’s a good thing, it’s going to make us both try to get better and we’ll have to see how we go.

“It’s always good to have healthy competition around. It makes me want to be better and I think he (Parcell) would say the same.

“He’s a really talented boy, so we’ll have to see how we go in round one ... come round one, Baz will make his decision on what he wants.”

He won't and he was buggered at the end of last year. He and the club both said his workload was too high last year. Will play 65-70 minutes I reckon.

Shit. He was my second selection in the Fantasy draft. Hopefully he can score the same as Parker in 60-65 mins Neutral

Does anyone else read the nrlsupercoachtalk.com website? Just find little bits of info scattered through their team chat all the time.

Latest is that Slater isn't trialling this weekend and is in doubt for round 1. He is a steer clear for me, apparently his shoulder is still no good.

Hurrell is being chased by the titans and they are willing to wait right up to the June 30 deadline to get him. Hurrell was told at end of last season he was free to look for another club as he was surplus to requirements.
To his credit he has dug his heels in and ripped into training this pre-season and is wanting to prove them wrong. Whether he gets the gig at centre is another question, and whether when he starts any defensive frailties mean he is dropped is another.

I'm convinced the Warriors centre pairing will not include Hurrell

i want to run with hurrell but i'm fairly well convinced of this as well.

even if he's named for rnd 1 it might be two weeks and then he's dropped.

    Round  Mins                 points
    6          80                    50
    7           80                   56
    14         80                    37
    15          80                   38
    16         53                    42
    18         80                    61
    19         74                    59
    20          70                   41
    Finals Rd 2 (Lock) 80      49
    Semi final          76        50

These are for when he started as 2RF (+ 1 game lock) as per spreadsheet.

When he was interchange he generally played around 50 mins (2 games of 23 + 28 though). Can't comment on any idea on rounds he moved into ctr mid match though

    edit: add round 21 for 80min / 39 pts

Haven't double checked but should be pretty accurate:

Started at second row in rounds 6/7/14-21
    Average minutes = 68 (range: 53-85)
    Average points= 41.6 (range: 37-61)

From rounds 5 to 21 last year he averaged 45 from 76 minutes (14 games), looks as though by tackle counts he was at centre for 4 of these games.

update on Api's issues for those that want to know.

    http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/manly-sea-eagles-player-apisai-koroisau-fined-500-for-trespassing-after-drinking-session-20160217-gmw84p.html

' "At the time of his arrest, the accused was well affected by intoxicating liquor, stating that he had been drinking earlier with his football team," the fact sheet said.

Court documents reveal the hooker was spotted by a man who was reversing his car out of his parents' property.

The man told him to get out but Koroisau continued to climb over a side gate before wandering down the side of the house into the backyard.

Koroisau then tried to unsuccessfully climb a fence into a neighbouring property and then retreated back to Chambers Avenue where he was arrested.'
