He was starting centre 9/10/12/13. A couple of meat pies helped his scoring.Warriors wrote:Andy V wrote:

Finals Rd 2 (Lock) 80 49
Semi final 76 50
These are for when he started as 2RF (+ 1 game lock) as per spreadsheet.
When he was interchange he generally played around 50 mins (2 games of 23 + 28 though). Can't comment on any idea on rounds he moved into ctr mid match though
From rounds 5 to 21 last year he averaged 45 from 76 minutes (14 games), looks as though by tackle counts he was at centre for 4 of these games.

I'd like to think that at least half of those teams are not serious fantasy players/contenders, but merely picking their favourite players.

Why is it crazy? In 2014 he had possibly the best season a forward has ever had averaging 62.5. In 2013 he averaged 51.3 from 70 minutes with 8 tries in 20 games. In 2012 he averaged 48.58 in 65 minutes from 19 games. Now he is coming back to a middle of the pack Souths team that will struggle to get as many attacking opportunities as 2014. Could easily return to averaging 50 and lose money

Will George Burgess be playing in round 1? Can't find out if he still has 1 week left or was it used in the 3 test series against NZ ( if that's allowed ).

Do you think it should be higher or lower?
Jackson Hastings owned by 19614 teams (just under 50%) So you know that at least 50% of teams are not trying seriously to win overall.

Sound logic. But God damn it, every time someone posts a logical argument against what I've decided is a sure thing I begin to fully second guess myself and do a big reshuffle. Lol. I'll be glad when the season starts and I don't have 'unlimited' trades anymore ha ha.

Which option sounds better?
A. Parcell + Fifita + Slater + Ah Mau/Whitehead OR
B. Lichaa + Merrin + Feeney + Whitehead
Obviously depends on Parcell and Whiteheads positions (starting or bench)

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 6
I suppose the best answer to any question pre-season is wait until Round 1 team lists but wondering if it's time to get Slater out or just hope he makes it to Round 1 and nothing's affecting his form. Who to go with though if I go for Feeney as a 3rd WFB I'll miss out on points but then again I'll have ample cash to stock up elsewhere. I can straight swap for Ferguson but it's 13k in valuable cash I could use elsewhere.
It's only a small amount but I have to plan for the increasing likelihood Hurrell doesn't make first grade and I'll need all the cash I can get for someone decent in the CTR spot.

im surprised its that high.
with hastings it makes sense that every serious team would have him. with surgess there are X other 2rf/frfs that both serious players and your average joes can pick from
i think surgess is a must but i have posted that before.

FOX channel 1 = Panthers vs Eels at 7.00pm. Replayed 3 times on FOX 1 at 11.00pm. On Sunday Fox 1 at 10.00am and again at 6.00pm
Sunday
FOX channel 3 = WCS Episode 2 at 12.00pm. Replayed on FOX 1 at 7.30pm

I'm not sure any of the big money players are "musts" because in every case there are other similarly priced players who will produce similar output.
Hastings, and to a lesser extent Ashley Taylor are genuine must haves (in your 25 if not your playing 17) because their likely points output for their cost is so much better than any one else in that range.
There will be a few expensive type guys who turn out to be must haves (like Simon Mannering and RTS in 2015) but you can't predict them with 100% certainty at this point.

Slater will be fine for rd 1. He wanted to play this weekend but the coaching staff decided to play it safe.Johnny B Goode wrote:I suppose the best answer to any question pre-season is wait until Round 1 team lists but wondering if it's time to get Slater out or just hope he makes it to Round 1 and nothing's affecting his form.
