Thats Dylan Walker, playing him at MID. The role he was playing at the end of the season was a bit like Peachy. 45-50 minutes in the middle, scoring between 44 and 53 points in those rounds.

Tell you what I completely forgot Dylan existed, Cody and Sam are the only two that came to mind lmao

He was nowhere near my radar (obviously) but far out he does have promising stats and MID is a tricky position early on this year I'm thinking

I am surprised. He is going to get a huge boost in numbers going from Raiders where it is hardest to find minutes for a MID in the comp, to being the veteran player and leader that the young Broncos pack have desperately missed the last few seasons. He is also now at that point post ACL surgery that players start to perform better, after he eased back in last season.

He will take pressure off guys like Haas and should get big minutes, along with Haas and Carrigan, spreading the work load between them, instead of burning out the young guys, especially as Carrigan eases back in from his ACL injury.

If you look at the recent Broncos signings, they have a clear strategy of bringing in proven leaders, to provide the guidance needed for a young team, also adding Capewell and Reynolds this season.

Flegler has a 3 game suspension to start the season, so James will get the opportunity to show that he is the best option as starting prop next to Haas.

Hey Mate. If I remember correctly, there a feature on your site where you can find previous season's rankings for your team? I may have made that up.

Can't see anything of James but a depth signing with an experienced voice - same as with Teo last year. He couldn't show impact at the Raiders, despite a few starting slots, and the donks signed him knowing that he was a fair bit slower than he used to be.

With an injury history and a disciplinary record too.... yeah nah.

Think id prefer Pene over James. He looked good off the bench last season. Assume he will play a bigger role for the Warriors especially with Tohu out and Lodge suspended. Cheaper price too.

I dont see Pene getting a significant role. Even if he gets on the bench round 1, he would be lucky to stay in the side for round 2 when Lodge is back. Curran will play  at lock in the Harris 60-80 minute role, AFB averaged 58 minutes, Jazz averaged 41 minutes off the bench, Lodge averaged 55 minutes since switching to Warriors. Aitken is playing 80 mins on one edge.

Sironen can play middle, leaving BMM and Katoa playing the remaining minutes on the edge, with one of them likely playing in the middle as well. Pene is likely competing with Afoa for the small minute bench spot.

With Aitken in the forwards, they can afford to have 4 forwards on the bench, with Aitken moving to center if there is an injury in the backs.

Yeah, kind've agree with Matt on this.
He's priced at 28 and averaged 27 from 33 minutes last year.

So, to be worth it, he either needs to greatly increase his minutes (to at least over 40 mins per game), or increase his PPM from 0.82 (possible) AND increase his minutes a bit as well.
    I'm hoping for better options...

    That's a great narrative!
I'm all in on the condition that you reveal you are in fact Kevvy Walters and this is absolutely the plan.

In all seriousness, he's priced at 34.
You're no doubt hoping that he returns to a 50's average like he had around four years ago.
However, unlike the GC, he has two other big minute middles in Haas (in his 5th NRL year) and Carrigan (in his 4th NRL year), and is also trying to head off the younger, more powerful and likely more talented.

Sure he brings experience, but lack of experience is less of an issue now than it was in the Seibold-era team of 2 years ago, and like you say they've added Capewell and Reynolds which if anything reduces the need for further experience in the line-up.

There's a fair chance James gains some value - I'm not convinced it will be meaningful.
Maybe the trials will provide more reason, but he'd need to be more like $320k to be worth a punt IMO

The Cowboys have given a brutally honest scenario in writing to skipper Jason Taumalolo, warning his vaccination hesitancy could cost him his $10m contract.

Shite Taumalolo must be pulling a NAS. Good for my boy Cotter though so Jason you stick to your guns brother.

What does Lolo get on the open market in current form, unvaccinated? $600-700k?

Or maybe he goes to UK and gets paid more as their star player.

With the upcoming season of nrl fantasy a couple of months away it might be a good opportunity to start developing a coping mechanism re mental health. With the fpl season basically half way through & with a lot of epl games being postponed this has affected a lot of people mentally. So start preparing yourself for those weeks where you may be struggling to get a good 17 out or field 17 players at all (although looping can lessen the blow to a certain extent). It may be as simple as going for a walk or reading a book or if need be just turn off your device for a couple of days.

Yeah, trials will be useful. And early injuries will bring more than a few into profitability. I'll be keeping an eye on the mob I posted a few pages back - will post it a bit less silly here so I can find it again.

hmm, will also order it by pre-season enthusiasm so I can test my priors mid-season. Roughly order anyway.
