Nelson Asofa Solomona is not training and talking to his teammates!! Does this make Tepai Moeroa a must have? A bit of time for things to resolve themselves, yet it is hard to imagine him playing if he is not training or communicating with his team? Which other players would this impact?

Huge implications on teams if he is named lock. Basically a free reserve at bottom dollar with the saved cap space allowing for stronger 16 men teams.

He could be lock round 1, but then Brandon Smith is back from suspension round 2. Would expect Tui or Welch to get lock ahead of him for round 1. Would be surprised if Smith plays hooker over Grant this season, without Finucane and Asofa there. Should be big minute lock.

Moeroa could be on the interchange round 1 and out of the team round 2, when Smith and Lewis are back in round 2 from suspension. Lewis played all but 3 games last season, so would expect him to be cemented in the 17.

Thinking full strength forwards are likely:
    Grant
    Welch Brom Smith
    Kaufusi Brom

Eisenhuth Lewis Tui (Hynes replacement as 4th interchange)

Tui K is stood down with an assault charge hanging over him currently. No idea if it'll be resolved before the start of the season.

Busy off season. Really liking Grant as 80 minute hooker.

For some unknown reason Crichton is about $80k underpriced based on his average last season too.
Yep I have my eye on on S. Crichton potentially and I think he has DPP.

Hey Rabbits, what's your opinion on Davvy Moale? Can imagine him filling out a lot of 18-21s if he gets a bench spot.

No, he’s correct- his younger brother is likely going to replace him in the squad with Tyrone axed and Burton and Momo leaving.

I reckon Tago is the better talent and in my opinion is ahead in the pecking order. Either one will be worth a shout if starting

Should be two open centre spots at Tigers with Talau and Doueihi injuries + players leaving

Think Nofo and Maumalolo are locked in on the wing

Gildart probably has a spot sewn up so should see a lot of fighting for the other spot

Reece Hoffman, William Kei, Junior Tupou, Asu Kepoa

Or Tigers can just chuck Peachey in to fill the gap and rob the fantasy community of a cheapie

Anyone else tempted by Sexton? Going to be the main kicker next to Brimson. Has already shown his talent in just 4 games. If he can average anything close to the 60 he averaged last season, which seems likely, would be great value at $600k. Stacks all the stats up in the way that Cleary does.

Why yes I am tempted by sex a tonne.

I was actually looking into him the other day but ended up deciding against it. Already being priced at 50 points is a bit rich for me, his sample size was just too small to be sure hes hitting 60 points: 72, 71, 55, 40

Scored a try for that 72 on debut, and the 71 the following week had 35 tackles, which is not sustainable for a half. Also had about 10 points in conversions for those first three scores- is he definitely still kicking?

I think there's some potential for it to be sustainable - there's not much in his 4 game stats that is too ridiculous and you'd think he should get a small uptick in KM, but it'd be a bit of a gamble for not the biggest upside.

I'm not ruling him out just yet, but I'm not sure I want to spend $1.65 mil on two halves

My guess is a suspended prison sentence followed by a one way trip back to Sydney.

Who is most likely to benefit from Peachey no longer being at the Titans? Some good minutes up for grabs.

With Fog leaving he very likely will be gk, huge question marks over whether his scores are repeatable though especially with km nerfed

Nice to logon and see a bit of activity. New rule changes have prob been discussed but I cant get my head around 4 points for an offload to hand. That seems abit over the top? This put TPJ and Matterson on my radar. Also DCE doesnt mind an offload, im considering starting DCE over Cleary due to the tight salary cap.
Also would have loved to see bigger squads.
