Oh true, I had not noticed. Weird that they would adjust that but not discount anyone relying on the now nerfed tacklebreaks. So halves are not overpriced but most backs still are. Think im going top heavy this season.

Most tackle-busting WFBs have had a small price reduction. My working assumption is that the loss of TB points is mostly made back up through the 2 points for escaping from in-goal.

But escape from in-goal stats aren't readily available to double check

If guys like Teddy, Latrell, To'o can escape from in-goal roughly twice a game, then they are priced appropriately

I have not considered any rule changes yet - but I made a team (before logging in) tough year for hookers and mids

    Cotter
    James Pangai Junior Utoikmanu
    Aitken Faitala Mariner
Hynes Peachey (assuming he starts lock)
    Burton Bird
    Cotric Papenhuyzen Ponga

    Clark Ilias Campbell Moeroa

    Davey Berrell Grieg Will-Smith

I am guessing I am way off the mark at the moment

RFM is likely to be one of the most popular picks this season, but may not get the kind of minutes that people are hoping for based on this article, still on his way back to recovery from an injury that could have ended his career. https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/league/127414273/nrl-former-kiwis-forward-raymond-faitalamariners-courage-hailed-after-serious-injury

Mad Jack is likely to be Bulldogs' starting 2RF this year, if you can stand the suspension roulette.

Rip Betty white nearly got to the tonne.

Anyone else worried about the safety of the player after seeing the heart attack recently occuring in soccer games. Hoping it's just a coincidence.

Some interesting potential value in MID this season for underpriced guns.
    - JDB looks to be 10 points underpriced if getting close to 80 minutes at lock.
    - Lolo won't be playing injured this season, the only way is up.
    - Interesting to see if Utoikumanu gets big minutes like the end of last season, with Twal and Peachey also likely getting high minutes.

Could be 3 cheapish season keepers.

Feeling like I am starting to get a better balanced draft squad. Still relying on a number of cheap players to be available. Hard to stay under $9.4M with Cleary included:

    Grant
    Lolo James Stefano
    Aitken Capewell
    Cleary (C) Hastings
    Burton Smith
    Papy Suaalii Fusitua

    Ilias Davey Starling Bird
    Koula Piakura Moale Baker

Taylan May would have to be starting in CTR for the Panthers? Only 300k!!

No, he’s correct- his younger brother is likely going to replace him in the squad with Tyrone axed and Burton and Momo leaving.

I reckon De Belin will play prop and Bird will play lock. The Dragons bought in Moses Suli at CTR and Lomax would have the other spot cinched.

Thanks, wasnt aware. Naden has gone as well.

For some unknown reason Crichton is about $80k underpriced based on his average last season too.

He is interesting, always been fairly reliant on tries but could be huge if he starts the season strong and you upgrade him in time to avoid the poor scores.

I am sticking to second row centre rule. Worth the premium this season, I think. Centre position is going to be devastated by the TB nerf.
