Just thought I drop in to wish everyone a merry xmas & happy b'day to No Worries. Also as per usual the solid ground work has already begun so cheers to those posting the info your work is much appreciated.

Actually No Worries if your b'day is the 24th my grandson shares the same b'day with you.He was born in 1999 & we kept telling his mum you have to hold on for 7 more days as he would of been 1 of the 1st millennium babies in the world.

You need a captain. If it is going to be McInnes he needs to be in the starting side.

Do we think that Cody Walker could be this season's Keary? Steps up with kicking meters and possession next to a junior half partner?

Every season he starts on fire but what impact no A-Rey will have on Walker is unknown. Will he get the km's or share because he's a running half so maybe the youngster may be the controlling half & that entails km's. Also at 631k Walker isn't exactly cheap if he has no km's & gk.

Also starting the season without Latrell at fullback.

People playing fantasy premier league would be aware of the impact covid might have on the season.
So many games cancelled at late notice.
In the A-league there ended up being 2 games this week (6 games in a full round)
A 3rd game was cancelled at very late notice.

2 and a half months for things to settle down, so could well be a minor issue come round 1.
If games being cancelled/postponed is a thing, I can't see how they'll be able to do anything other than give people more trades, or see masses of people lose interest very quickly when they can't field teams.
Would make for some interesting trade decisions though. If a player averaging 70 ended up with a double game week - how much would you tear your team apart to get him in?

Speaking of trades, it looks like they are locking 4 trades until Round 20.

So you are forced in to at least 4 trades for the end of the season. My question is whether that will change anyones approach to how they trade, whether they are just going to go harder knowing there are 4 extra trades at the end of the year.

Well my BBL Fantasy season was destroyed single handedly by Ben McDermott, who scored 694 points as captain in a round where my whole team scored 698. So naturally I have already turned one eye to NRLF 3 months early so that I can be properly prepared for ruining my next fantasy season.

Glancing at the prices, I think trying to fit in both Cleary and Turbo would impact the rest of the team too much and coaches will need to choose one or the other. I refuse to beleive Turbo can repeat the freakish form he was in to find 25 tries in 15 games, so for me Cleary is the must-have, provided he is fit.

EDG seems the position with the most value- Graham, RFM, Capewell, Blore if starting

Hooker seems to be a troubling position this year. Smith freeing up Grant with an early exit would be a no-brainer, but for now i’m looking at JMKs and Erin Clarkes, so something must be wrong here!

Can anybody tell me why Johnson is priced around 42 despite averaging 48 over ten games? Strange to discount him, but a juicy price nonetheless.

Feeling like we wont be blessed with a lot of rookies to start the year, which means coaches will need to pay for more expensive NPRs and have less value to spend on their scoring 17.

All kicking halves have been discounted to reflect the change in points offered for kick meters.

Oh true, I had not noticed. Weird that they would adjust that but not discount anyone relying on the now nerfed tacklebreaks. So halves are not overpriced but most backs still are. Think im going top heavy this season.
