Gildart probably has a spot sewn up so should see a lot of fighting for the other spot
Reece Hoffman, William Kei, Junior Tupou, Asu Kepoa
Or Tigers can just chuck Peachey in to fill the gap and rob the fantasy community of a cheapie
I reckon Peachey will start at LOCK and play big minutes. I am thinking of selecting him as one of my HLFs

I dunno know how people are seriously looking at this yet. I admire your tenacity. I’ll stick around for the bants - and to win the madlibs comp - but if anything going to form a squad even later than usual.. TLT green ticks under 350k fill in the rest from there.

Never too early to identify likely value and work out what squad structure is likely to work best. Can fill in the gaps later as we get closer and have more information.

James Roberts is still there/back as well.
Gildart had better deliver because I am am not super excited about any of the other options. Maybe one of the young guys can kick on

For offloads
I have analysed Supercoach's "Effective" and "Ineffective" offloads
Here are the players most likely to benefit - assuming that they correlate to "To Hand" and "To Ground' and that previously Fantasy scored 2 points across the board for both
So big caveat about different stats providers with different interpretations, but here are the top 20 players for total points gained if scoring matches the supercoach system

Looking at Nofo as an example
He'll lose 3.7 points a game from TB nerfing, gain 3.8 points a game from offloads
There's also potential points gained from escaping the in-goal.
He averaged 37.6 with 2021 scoring. Priced at 36.5 this year.
Is that enough of a discount to make him enticing? Probably not in this case.
But I bet there are players out there that will be worth chasing for the offload points

Dolphins have signed Issac Luke's son, Adaquix Luke, for 3 years
I found this surprising. Previously, I did not know there was a rugby league player with the first name Adaquix

And in true Asterix form he is quite adequate.

I love it.
Previous comment: “Its too early to be doing fantasy”
The Cow enters the chat and casually drops a bunch of tables analysing Supercoach offload data that he has whipped up in his free time.
I hearby declare the fantasy season open!
Anyone else like Arrow if he locks up that edge role? Priced at 42, but I could see him being rotated into the middle a lot too, tacklebot with a huge motor. Might be the one to wait and watch a game first to be sure of his role.

Thinking out loud here but I wonder if Murray will spend some time rotated to the edge for a bit of a breather allowing him to play up to 80 minutes given he's captain this year. Also got MCK and Host in the mix for edge minutes so I'm not gonna read into anything too much yet
While we're on the Rabbitohs though if Jaxson Paulo gets left centre, which he should from all reports, handy DPP at 330k on a productive left edge

Bah, i’ll just add him to the list of many cheap centres im interested in (Suaalii, Crichton, Penisini, Smith, May, Tago) during the season ive sworn to go double gun centres
Be interesting to see how many draft Burton. Would have easily backed him to make that 50 average at the Panthers, but it takes a lot of now-nerfed kick metres for a Bulldogs half to comfortably make that quota (ie Lewis), or like Flanagan with conversions which Burton wont have. The doggies would really need to lift this season to give him opportunities at attacking stats, which given their recruitment, they well might. Wait and see for me though.

I agree, plenty of cheap ctr options. You would think Burton ends up being one of the top scoring ctrs and it prob makes sense to start with him rather than having to use a trade. How to fit him in though? Start him in the halves with Cleary? Thats alot of cap spent on the half position thats had one of its base scoring methods reduced

I think they need to add a train and trail option in fantasy
and it could work like you pay 20% of the players value at the start of the year and there price is locked when added to your team and you can promote them at any point of the year by trading out someone limit your train and trials to 4 per say or something like this maybe only be able to train and trial certain players (less than 20 games played or something and not make filling these spots optional)
