Apparently Storm really pissed off at his comments and considering letting him go immediately.
Can hardly blame Brandon, he has been screwed around by the club for years, continual promises that he was getting the 80 minute hooker role when Cameron finished, then that didn't happen. He has every right to finally go somewhere that he can play as the club's only hooker and star there.

I'm halfway through the interview and the biggest takeaway for me is how he's to tight to pay for an uber.

Earlier in the year I was at a comedy gig with more than a dozen of the Storm players also in attendance.
After the gig a few of them were arguing over who was paying for the ubers.
Obviously Christian Welch stepped up.

So the Cheese is getting a breach notice and massive fine. Storm aren't happy

A couple of months ago everyone thought there was something else culture at the Storm based on his videos. He and the club should take the win!

Also a little surprised he didn't get his manager to spell check his apology.

Feels about even money that BS9 in Sydney will end in some sort of incident. He's going to be in for a rude shock with the media and public here relative to down in Melbourne.

You find me a professional NRL player and I'll find you a F*@king idiot 9.9 times/10.

These guys should be kept as far away from microphone as possible.

It needs to be written into contracts who can and can't give interviews, especially when talking about their clubs.

Also making the news today, reasonably well off young dude, with a limited employment skills base, roundly lauded as a 'character' and 'fond of a good time' is revealed to not be that smart/savvy about the way the world works (or how to word a face saving PR apology or when to pull up stumps).

I do also sometimes wonder how smart NRL Player managers are......it's almost like they are there for negotiating the contract every now couple of years and they let the players manage themselves the rest of the time......oh

If it’s wasn’t for grubs like slothfield and vossy this wouldn’t be an issue.
The headline should read smarter than average player who does his lines in a private hotel room and gets screwed chooses the club who offer the best money and premiership chance.
People are making an issue about his language which I think is also unfair, the pope would be dropping C bombs after half an hour in that podcast.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs respect and support the NRL’s decision to not register a contract for Anthony Milford at this stage.

The National Rugby League (NRL) has advised player Anthony Milford and the South Sydney Rabbitohs that it will not consider registering a contract for the player until criminal proceedings against Milford have been completed.

Given the severity of the allegations, particularly that two charges allege violence against women, the NRL will not consider an application for registration until the court process is complete.

Milford was arrested on 20 September 2021 and charged with 3 counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and 1 count of wilful damage involving a vehicle.

kinda sounds like something that wouldn't normally make it to 'police report' stage. drunken argument with wife and some others got involved, or something.
