I've downgraded Haas to Collins so I can get more depth on my bench...covid will ruin teams so need plenty of depth & dpp's

I’m trying to decide between Haas and Angus. I know so many want Haas but Angus is 25k cheaper and has that valuable DPP.

Pap, Burton, TPJ haven’t left my team. And of course if Cleary is fit I’ll have him.

If Cleary is out I’ll probs start with Turbo so I save a trade later on, yes Turbo will lose a bit of cash but how much is the question and how would you get him in.........

You know I'd probably lean Angus due to the dpp. I love Haas but I noticed last year he took a little while to get up to speed & Kevvy seems to not want him to play big mins. Also Haas hardly offloads which annoys me because he's should be making plenty of offloads because of his size where defenses struggle to contain him & if he did it would negate the points he'll lose re tb's. Angus is always looking to offload.

I'm actually liking S. Walker's price of 476k (priced at 38 points). He's the gk, he will have a full strength team around him, good early draw & Keary is back to take the pressure off him & he will have a full pre season to build up strength & combinations. He can accumulate points quickly & although his ceiling will flatten his floor will improve greatly.

He won't be the goalkicker mate, he's a terrible goalkicker. Whoever gets the centre spot between Momorovski, Keighran and Billy Smith will kick.

nrl.com usually do an article at the start of each season regarding each teams goalkicking stocks. But I'll have a guess at:

    Broncos - Reynolds
    Raiders - Croker, maybe Fogarty.
    Bulldogs - Averillo, maybe Burton
    Sharks - Hynes
    Titans - Sexton
    Sea Eagels - Garrick
    Storm - Papenhuyzen
    Knights - Clifford
    Cowboys - Holmes
    Eels - Moses
    Panthers - Cleary
    Rabbitohs - Mitchell
    Dragons - Lomax
    Roosters - Momorovski
    Warriors - Shaun Johnson
Tigers - Douehi, maybe Hastings until he's back

    Thoughts?

Think you're about right there. Not sure about the Dogs, and Trindall might kick ahead of Hynes if he plays.

Hastings didn't goal kick in England but from memory was ok at the Roosters. They might see who goes better between him and Brooks at training until Douehi back?

Just for you Welshy you sexy beast

first draft team planner for this year

    https://www.mediafire.com/file/j8v638mr7d1ciz4/2022+Team+Planner+v1.0.xlsm/file

FYI - the "Compare" and "BigLook" sheets have my approximation of the new scoring
But in the team planner sheet the averages are that year's actual average

Next job will be to add in finals data from last year
Any issues with the sheet give me a shout. Bit more manual fiddling than usual getting the new stats in this year

You cant have owned Lam last season. Avoid Keary's halves partner.

Has anyone considered Brian To,o seriously? I was just about to bring Tedesco in but then I saw To'o poking out. He has at least 25 points in base stats a week from run metres and has a high floor. Only 3 scores less than 50 last year (23, 41, 42) and less reliant on tackle-breaks too. I also reckon To'o would be a most reliable 'get out of the in goaler', perhaps the best in the competition?

Teddy will have a team back this year. Keary will be setting him up for lots of tries.

Speaking of To’o has anyone else considered Marzhew as an off-brand To’o?

He has to escape from in goal twice a game in order to hit his priced average.

He might well do that, but its not a big value proposition.

Certainly noone should be selecting him ahead of Ryan Papenhuyzen, who is the first picked in your 21 (even ahead of Cleary)
